What is tha most efficient/ your fav. party

i have always had trouble figurin which is tha most effiecient party.......i always have cloud (of course), usually CID, and then its a toss up between vincent, and red 13...i would choose vincent anyday cuz i love his character...but i have no idea how his final weapon (death penalty) works...i know its reliant on how many enimies u kill wit it....but mine never gets stronger.....i dont really have to have him bein as i have beatin tha game like 8 times....but i would like to know how to level up death penalty and what your fav party is and why

I always Cloud and Yuffie, and then I switch between Vincent and Cid every time I play.

I use almost everyone. Yuffie sees the least use. Cloud is obviously the most used. I think the party varies between Nanaki, Tifa, Barret, and Cid. But I tend to use Cait Sith before I get Cid. Also, I phase Nanaki out as things go on, because his limit breaks just aren't that good, sadly.

I kept Cloud, Tifa and Vincent as my party. They are practically an unstoppable team or at least I thought when I was using them :D

Cloud, Yufie Vincent. Give Cloud the Long Range materia and all 3 can hack away from the back row, and Yufie is much faster that Barret and I value speed and eficiency over strength!

the average party most are attracted to is Barret Tifa and Cloud (a gooood party)

but as my FFVII maturity came in (haha, whatever that may be) I think I went for Cloud(kinda have no choice there, he's my beat-the-bad-guy-up guy) Vince(the scare-the-bad-guy...guy) and RedXII(support-the-good-guys-beating-or-scaring-the-bad-guy wolf)

MY ultimate FF VII party is either Cloud, Cid and Yuffie for the simple fact that if you go into a fight with all three of their limit meters charged (and they're all high level with their best limit breaks equipped), then you can unleash around 300,000 points of damage in 1 round without expending a single MP. Nothing beats an Omnislash-Highwind-Doom of the Living chain, with the exception of W-Summon-Knights of the Round-Mime ad infinitum, for taking down tough bosses.

i just use whoever was the strongest first time around only focused on the ones with the high levels now i'm on my 17th time around and i'm switching characters and materia so much i can sell off me all materia at master and get the villa on the first disc

Thats my opinion, so don't go off at me if you disagree.

During my first game, I used Cloud, Tifa and Barret mostly, although I replaced Tifa with Yuffie during the final parts since Yuffie's Conformer works well with Morph and it gets stronger when you're fighting tougher enemies, such as Iron Men. On my second game, I used Cloud, Tifa and Red XIII. A great and fun combination.

On my third game, my combination was Cloud, Tifa and Aeris during the first disc. On the later discs, it was Cloud, Tifa and either Yuffie or Cid. Yuffie's a good character, it's just that Cid's level 4 limit break is better since it hits the enemies several times, allowing you to do over 9999 damage with it.

my main party is Cloud,Barret, and Vincent. but before Aeris u-kno-what, it was her in Barret's place. occasionally ill use Cid, because he's also a great fighter. in the very beginning of the game, i also used RedXIII a lot. i kno im going to get a lotta beef for this, but i see no use for Tifa or Yuffie. or Cait SIth. u can do fine without them. tehn again, u can really do fine with ne party, thanks to materia. :rolleyes2

Cloud, I don't like'em that much but he's a MUST :mad:
Cid, coOoOoOoOoOoOol, strong attacks, his weapons carry a lot of materia..
Cait Sith, his weapons carry the most materia..

So the main reason is the number of materias the characters weapon can carry :D

I think Prima guides favorite party is Cloud, yuffie, and cait sith. After you gain all characters the starategy guide pics only show that party...

I haven't got that far into the game to start thinking about final weapons and limit breaks...
I have Cloud (because ive got no other choice) and then i use Vincent, red xiii/Yuffie or Tifa.

Tifa because early in the game, it helps when shes using like 5 different attacks at a time in her limit break. Shes one of my strongest so that helps too.
Vincent because ive just got him and i think he is the meaning of cool. It helps when you use characters in the back row who have projectiloe weapons. So that why i use Yuffie. That and i always use her for stealing.
Then i use Red because hes got the highest magic level for some reason in my party.

Never ever use Cait Sith. Partly because i hate his guts. I used to use Barret a bit but then hes just seemed to fase out of the team becaue im using the other characters a bit much. Aeris used to be my strongest...but then i found out she dies. (bit of a pain)
Just got Cid, so id probably end up using him a bit.
