View Full Version : Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close.
This might have something to do with me not being able to run taskman.exe and rundll.exe (you know, the "make a shortcut wizard") and stuff. Right now, it works though.
I also somehow got a bunch of malware on my computer that I've been fighting off with Adaware, including a guest appearance by a.exe (the worm). I don't know how I contracted any of these, as I've been good lately.
Any ideas?

Have you run Windows Update recently?
Also try MS anti-spyware (http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx)
I haven't updated to SP2 because the last time I did, I had major problems and had to revert. :\
Um, some trojan or something is putting a.exe on my computer, and then is trying to run slinstaller.exe on my computer. I deleted slinstaller and a but a keeps reappearing. :\
