I think Kuja is because he had a lot of personality for the main villain but Vivi was cute, small yet strong but Zidane was likeable and caring which was a start for the main male lead in a FF game (I'm only basing this on 7, 8, 9, 10 and 10-2 as they're the only ones I've played so far)
