Did this forum used to have only FF forums?? 'Cause the last threads were from 2004 while the FF ones are from 2001. What the hell??

What last threads are you talking about?

The general forums get pruned, while the FF forums don't.

The staff forum never gets pruned either. You should see it, there are a few threads from 1963 still in there!

Ummm if FF wasn't released until the 80's (or after the 60's anyway) and there's posts from 1963 then how did this site exist? Just wondering..

Well you could consider ARPANET, a computer network developed in 1969, the first internet of sorts, but since it used NCP protocol until the early 1980's you can't say it's the Internet. ARPANET switched to TCP/IP in the early '80's.

It wasn't called Eyes on FF back then. Back in the 60's this site was a gathering place for the supporters of the Civil Rights movement. I don't remember the exact name, so you should ask Raistlin for it, because he was still a member back then.

It was called "Free Peter."
