Am I the only one who notices that theres a big difference between diet pop and regular pop?

I mean I hate it when those people who drink diet soda say "It taste the same." AM I the only who notice that diet soda doesn't taste the same.-

Well, I'll assume you're talking about soda, like the thread title says, because I have no clue what pop is...

I like diet soda, and yeah, it taste way different. The only one I've heard claim to taste exactly the same was Diet Dr Pepper, and well...it doesn't. It taste like some sort of children's medicine.

I noticed that diet caffeine free coke had no calories at all. That is an indication that they stuffed it with chemicals that can make you sicker than being overweight. Basically, if you're a dumb ass whore that is addicted to being skinny, drink those and die from chemical poisoning.

Most diet drinks do have that weird after taste from the artificial sweeteners, but I don't notice it so much with Diet Coke.

Well, Aspartame and sugar taste rather different. However, I'd go with diet soda any time.

Well of course they taste different. How else are you going to have a difference of over 150 calories without having the taste be filtered down with Diet drinks?

The only soda I ever drink is Diet so I don't even notice the taste difference anymore.

I heard you are just better off drinking the regular soda due to the wwell lets jsut say certain chemicals that ar eposionious to humans if they drink diet soda all the time.I mean its you either cut down on drinking soda or you stop drinking it.The hwole thing iwht Diet anything whidhc pisses me off is the fact that people buy as an easy way not to moderate anything they do in there life.

Not really its an act of getting out the easy way. You can be in shape if oyu drink a regular coke I mean you have to moderate your drinking habits into having like one thing of coke every 2 days or so.IT can work I don't drink much pop mostly water and juice.

Tea and soda is a treat for me basicly.I jsut don't think you should sacrifice taste jsut so you can lose some weight.I mean you can still lose weight by changing oyur eating and drinking habits.Don't drink a regular soda everyday do it every two or 3 days heck even once a week is awesome.

You can't deny yourself those things when you change your eating habits but you just eat foods that better for oyu but never deny anything swet or greasy or op for example.Just keep to a minium when you consume it.

I think some of them have recently begun to use Splenda. They used to use Nutra Sweet but Splenda is the hip new zero calorie sweetener. "Tastes just like sugar" my spotted ass!

It depends what sort of diet soft drink it is. I hate most diet soft drinks - but I love diet coke with lime.

I happen to agree..Diet sodas don't taste the same...but when you're diabetic, diet is what you're stuck with...because a serving of soda is between 100 and 160 or more calories, and between 20 and 50 grams of sugars, or half a meal's worth. I happen to like carbonated stuff, so diet is the way to go...my only problem with the diet stuff is that it tends to be TOO sweet, like they're overcompensating for the lack of sugar.
