Persuade me to play this game please.

I need to complete this game. and now that I've got a few weeks spare I want to do it now, but this game turns me off so much.

Everytime I decide to play it I always back out, so I'd like you good people who've played the game through to give all the reasons you can think of as to why this game is excellent and make me want to play it.

it has a great sroryline and youve got mare than enough time on your hands to complete it even faster than i did and also yoour an FF fan so you have to complete it(your honour as an FF fan is at risk here i admit the start is a bit annoying but aabout half way through disk to you should be into it and by disk three you and the game will be closer than an ass to a chair.)

Well I doubt whatever me or anyone can say would make you instantly like it but well...IMO the battles are really fun, the story and graphics really good.

Okay I started playing it again, and I figured out how to get of Balamb town so I could draw some magic. Then I finally beat Raijin and Fujin.

I'll probably play it all day tommorow.

Ignore people who say the story is bad.This game has so many storyline secrets that up to today I didn´t found all of them.Every time I play i see new secrets.I spot things I hadn´t spotted before.And I bought in on November on the year it reaches the market.Isn´t sick of it and I think I never will.People here looks at the surface of things.They can´t(and don´t wanna to) see behind the scene.What is happening secretly.

Yeah i'd agree with that.Character devolpement may be lacking for certain characters but the story is excellent imo.

Each character has a secret story.In many cases these stories weren´t revealed totaly but one can look for clues in the game.People don´t like FF8 storyline because it´s of the secretive type.But FF7 has a great and CLEARLY SEEN storyline.

I second this motion.

Awesome game, definitely my favorite FF.

BTW, the summonings are cool, but you don't really need them if you draw enough magic and junction it properly. Draw all status inducing magic like berserk, confuse, sleep, etc, and elemental magic, and support magic like protect, shell and haste ASAP. This'll give you enough power to actually not have to summon your GFs.
