I need some opinions..

Is Cloud really worth getting in this game?

Cloud is worth getting just because of the fact that he is Cloud. And, if you do train him really hard, he can be incredibly strong.

He's worth getting if you're an Aeris fan. :)

He may start at level 1, but powering him up and allowing him to learn other jobs can make him a useful member. Short Charge helps with some of his Limits, but in the long run you're better off making him a Ninja, with sub Limit ability. Add short Charge and you can get the majority of his Limits off with good speed and strength.

Sure he's not Orlandu, Ramza or Worker 8 in terms of power, but he's not as bad as Rafa, Malak and many generic units.

If you want to just beat the game and not go get everything, then you can skip him, as Orlandu is way better and makes the game unbearable easy.

I like getting Cloud, personally. Short Charge can make his limits much more effective, and he can get to be quite powerful.

actually, orlandu is stronger, so i don't really bother him

i did get him, but really. 98 levels lower then the others...its just not realistic =_=

plus, he's just a character, cool but really, just another dude.
why play fft just for cloud, its the best strategy game ever

He learns every Limit Break that he has in FFVII and even one he doesn't (Cherry Blossom).

Finish Touch is enough for me... you won't have to work on Short Charge and if you're lucky, you can disable the enemy right away :D

the game is awesome enough without getting Cloud, but if you want something new to do, it's fun.
