No Encounters?

I have a wepon for Auron that has No Encounters Is that possible?

Yes. It's quite nice at times (Omega Ruins, I'm looking at you).

Ditto on Omega Ruins >.< (I do turn it off and go further in for levelling up... the monsters at the beginning aren't great, except Mimics for gil)
It's also pretty much a godsend for getting the Venus Sigil.

Did you fight geowhatever at the baaj temple ruins? xD That drop is a weapon with no encounter sometimes.

I got mine a lot earlier than that from a random drop from a ghost in the sunken caveXD

It is quite useful during the thuder plains and Cactuar side quests. I love me some NE.

A lot of the sidequests/minigames benefit from No Encounters, some pretty much require it. Dodging lightning and fighting random encounters would have made the challenge impossible for me, I had a hard enough time with just the lightning.

As far as I know there's only one place to get a No Encounters weapon and that is from that creature in the temple ruins, the one that almost swallows Tidus at the beginning of the game.

yessir, if i had to do the Cactuar village without no encounters, i think i would have gone crazy. For me, the Omega ruins were a key place to level up, i didnt use it there, except on the way back from beating Ultima weapon to save.

The weapon that I have w/ no encounters is yuna's ductile rod, but I have no idea where i got it, it just popped up out of nowhere

i think i won mine in a random battle in the omeaga ruins, tis a piece of armour for lulu.

yuna got a peaceful ring and lulu's got a peaceful bangle, they become your best friends.
