Damn that was one fine performance. Worth the wait and having to sit through some reaaaaaallllyyyyy bad acts. Comfortably Numb was amazing.

What did you think of it?

Do you think it could lead on to more? I mean they did look quite excited.

By the way, I am talking about the live 8 reunion in case you didnt know.

It was amazing and amazing and amazing.

David Gilmour is the best performer I've ever seen. He's just great.

Who knows what it'll lead to? David has previously said that The Floyd will not go on tour without a new album, and although Roger has said it is good to be back with his old bandmates, he's hinted that it was only for Live 8. They all looked to be in good spirits, though, and David and Roger looked relaxed around each other. Again, who knows? All I know is that those twenty minutes were fantastic. It honestly put everyone else to shame.

It was wonderful. I almost cried when they launched into Wish You Were Here.

Awesome pic! Do you have anymore?

I DID cry when they played Comfortably Numb because I wasn't there! Motley Crue afterwards sounded even worse than they usually do.

Best reunion ever!

It was a great gig, I sure wish I would've been there :( I watched it on TV, but still the great feeling came through. Amazing~~ <3
I enjoyed "Speak to Me (Breathe in the Air)" most, it's my fave song of theirs (at the moment :p).

edit:: sorry for the mixup, I messed my mind somehow by mixing "On the Run" and "Speak to Me" together, maybe because of my playlist or something but ohwell. Fixed now...

I'm not really a fan of Pink Floyd, but that was a pretty damn good performance.

Truly an astonishing performance. I'm not a huge Pink Floyd fan, but you can't argue that they had more presence than any other band of the night. If Live 8 really was their last gig ever, it's certainly an ideal ending to their career.

YES THEY DO STILL HAVE IT!!!! IT'S WONDERFUL! IT'S AMAZING! And I'm so glad and lucky I got this one chance to see them perform live. I mayn't, you know...and they might never perform together live again.

It astounds me how much they still have it....their voices, like Wubah says are aged...but their music! IT'S TIMELESS! *pounces on fridaysong and huggles* YOU know!!!! <33333

Yeah, that was an excellent performance. If anything, I think they've improved as musicians since their last performance together. I'm still pissed at the MTV VJs for talking over the middle of Comfortably Numb.

I loved it. Almost ALL the bands that played were good. Particuarly The Who.

I hope this means they will be doing another tour. I am lucky enough to have seen them twice (though, with out Rogers for obvious reasons). I know there are plenty of people around my age who would love to see them live for the first time.. Plus, seeing them for a third time with Rogers would be awesome.

That was the best show i've ever seen in my whole life, the guys were fantastic and Gilmour is still the same awesome guitar player.

In retrospect, I am glad that they are not going to tour. I think it would kill the magic.
