What is that blackish stone? Materia? Or just some weird decoration?

It flashes like materia and it's more specificely located on that rock formation.

Actually, its a weapon for Tifa (called the Powersoul). You have to go through one of the pipes to be able to get it. I can't remember which one, but if you try them all, you'll eventually get it.
