i like comet2 or the mastered level3 spells(when you play as sephiroth his spell animations are different so that must happen because they are mastered.)or contain"power hungry drool".

I love the Ultima magic.
It´s fast, nice-looking and incredibly powerful.
Also, it hits all enemies, WITHOUT the All Materia.
That´s my definition of perfect magic! :D

However, the best "simple" combination involving the magic in question would be something like:

Ultima=Quadra Magic, Ultima=Sneak Attack
Ultima=Final Attack, Phoenix=Final Attack, W-Magic

Talk about a death squad! :D:D:D

You could also change Ultima with Knights of Round,
but you WILL fall asleep in the process! :cool:

Sephiroth's magic looks different because 3rd level magic looks different when cast on All, it was a nice touch and made it more tempting to level elemental materia. (I personally have use for all magic and materia, each character gets own set of materia according to their 'class')

i can't believe nobody mentioned FREEZE... it's not super strong, but it freezes the enemy almost every time (at least when i use it) and u can use it, attack with anything else and if the monster becomes moving again you can just cast it again lol i love it.

Also i enjoy MIME with KoTR of course. too easy and too long but hella strong.
and i never really used Ultima that much. i didn't think it was THAT strong.... but maybe that was just me.

I thought Shadow Flare looked nice and has an awesome name but wasn't that necessary in any battles or anything like that.
