Do you like javascript?

<input type="button" value="Yes" onclick="var smileflag = getElementById('flag'); if(smileflag.value == 'false'){var smile = getElementById('smiley'); smile.src = 'http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif';smileflag.value='true';}else{alert('You already chose cheater!');}"> <input type="button" value="No" onclick="var smileflag = getElementById('flag'); if(smileflag.value == 'false'){var smile = getElementById('smiley'); smile.src = 'http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif';smileflag.value='true';}else{alert('You already chose cheater!');}"><input type="hidden" id="flag" value="false"/>

I know javascript is hard to write at times, but I enjoy the level of flexibility and interactivity it gives you when developing webpages. So do you enjoy working with javascript, or at least reaping the rewards of javascript done by others?

I dislike it. Not that I've ever bothered learning it properly.

If I were more into web design, I'd just learn PHP, since I'd imagine that's a lot easier than interfacing something like CGI perl scripts with JS.

Javascript is pretty good, and I like to do immature things such as create infinite pop-up loops! I like c++ more though.

I'm currently learning. It's fun.

By the way you made a mistake on the Yes button after you've already chose an option.. :p

I know, I can't get rid of that space. :( I think it has to do with how the board handles line wrapping on posts.

It can be annoying at times, but I can think of more annoying web-based languages out there.

Yes and no.

It's useful, but far too much of a pain to write in large quantities.
