Those are good and Kirby is adorable! I especially like the first picture with the black outlines though. You should do that to the others. Or maybe colour them? I like them though =)

Thanks for the replies.

Anyway, about my comics, I made most of them last year, and they were drawn on lined paper. What I wanted to do was draw some on printer paper and then ink them, but that may take awhile. If you guys want me to post the comics as I have them now, then I will.

Anyway, here's some more drawings:

Kim of Fatal Fury. I kinda messed up his arm >_>

Iori of King of Fighters. I have to fix his shirttail and his hand.

Sabin from Final Fantasy 6

Better than my drawings were and have deteriated to. But then again, working with sprites for a few months will do that.

>>> Now that you mention it, you never post art here.
Come on, everyone wants to see nik0tine´s drawings.

>>> Bakuretsu Hakkei
Not bad but i think you should put more effort in your drawings.

Can you please clarify that statement? I'm glad you told me, but I don't know exactly what you mean by more effort. You mean like add more shading, or something like that? If that's what you mean, then I can do that.

Here's some more old stuff:

>>> Sorry Im not good at critizing.
Yeah, I guess it need more shading, also i think your lines are very loose. Inking your draws may help with that.

Even if this is your old artwork, it's definatley better than anything I've done.

Thanks everyone, and now I've decided to post one of my comics in its original form. Hopefully soon I can draw it on printer paper, ink it, and whatnot.

I don't have a name for the comic because it's REALLY hard to come up with names for them these days. My other comic is called Fatal Fighters (wow, what an original name that is, huh, lol)

I have photoshop, so if you wanted to, I could get rid of the blue lines, make the existing lines darker, make the text easier to read (not that it was very hard in the first place) and whatnot.

Well, hey, if you can do that, then thank you, and I'll credit you for it, also :D

Well, thank you, Rengori! I'm glad to see that someone likes my comic so much that they offered to help make it better ^.^

As for that issue of the comic, it's not long. It's only 6 pages. I have a habit of making the starting issue usually just a long preview of sorts.

If you ever have any problems reading the dialogue in the next few pages, let me know through PM and I can clear them up for you.

In the meantime, here's the rest of the first issue (I've started the second one but can't scan it for a while)

I'll be waiting for the second issue.

Edit: #1 on your site doesn't load up all the way...

Polnareff

Yeah, I tried to fix that on the site but it just wants to be stubborn >_>;;

Anyway, thanks for helping me with this and I credited you on my site for doing it.

Now I feel kind of embarrassed sending that reply to the PM when you already figured out what the dialogue said >_>;;

I'm about to post a part of one of the Fatal Fighters issues. Fatal Fighters, IMO, is my better comic out of the two since there's so many references to different places and things.

Damn, have I fallen out of the loop or what :P

All the stuff I scanned and am about to post I scanned like a month ago, so nothing truly new here (well, it'll be new to you guys) ;D

Since I don't feel like digging through the pages of my Photobucket account to post some more Fatal Fighters pages right now, I'll just post a couple other REALLY rough sketches.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/ckimbro/c4.jpg

^That's just a random kid. I'm gonna put him in my next comic.
i

^Those two are Marin and Hikaru of Fatal Fighters. I realize I messed up Marin's arms and her legs (and Hikaru's shoes @_@). I drew that pic while I was sleepy @_@

Hikaru looks different in that picture because of a certain story arc in Fatal Fighters (if I can find the issue, I'll have my friend scan it)

I might put off posting comics and art for a few days so I can either write a Fatal Fighters-related story or work on a new story for a new comic I just thought of :D

Rengori

You really like the stance that Marin's in.

Polnareff
08-09-2005, 07:55 PM
Well, I usually draw most of my characters that I haven't introduced in that stance, since it shows off most of their costume/face/everything else :P

I draw them in other stances, as well, but I didn't scan any of those pics yet >_>;; I basically save most of the good ones for the comics....
