I'm tired all day, but when i go to bed, I cant go to sleep. I HATE that. Cause im tired but then i turn off my tv, and i cant sleep.

I usually go to sleep with my tv on. It helps me a lot.

Hey Hawkeye.....you live in Gilbert as well? Just curious.

I don't suffer from insomnia. However, I do have an extremely flexible sleep schedule. Some days, I will stay up to 8:30 am and on others I will be dead at 11 pm. Sadly, my younger brother (idiot) always seems to keep me from getting the recommended eight hours by waking me up WAY early. *Thinks evil thoughts involving a hammer*

Yes, I suffer from insomnia. I take a warm shower and drink hot tea to help it. It does help :)

Supposedly, if you don't focus on anything (television/videogames/ etc.) about half an hour to an hour before sleeping, you sleep better.

I haven't got insomnia, but I'm much more awake at night, so it's never easy drifting off.

I'm scared of falling asleep because of underpants gnomes. :(

It's all about routine.

You have to get your body used to going to bed at a certain time and used to getting up at a certain time. Oversleeping messes with your inner clock.

Try taking a 30 - 60 min jog 2 hours before bed... then hit the showers for a nice hot one, and finish it off with a book. Something that will calm you down. I don't recommend the computer, for some reason it makes you feel wide awake. (Or atleast it makes me feel awake)

Don't eat before sleep too, you can feel restless.

When all else fails hire a guy named Bubbah to sing you to sleep in his big hairy arms or at the least give you a good knock on the block.

Take some of grandma's cough medicine to bed with you.

well, you see -- i don't call it insomnia and i don't consider it a sleep-depraving side-effect. i boosted my ability to stay up longer than anyone in my family, jus by playing video-games for a few straight hours, starting from as early as 11pm. when it's 2am, i might watch the prerecorded channel #10 news that aired earlier from the 9 o'clock newscast. after that, i might play more video-games or turn on my built-in alarm light and begin writing.

yes, and concerning my "Jobs", i like to fly over your rooftops, carrying a big black bag with me.

I go to sleep at around 11 p.m and wake up at 6 a.m. But try to wake me up and you're gonna have a rough time, matey! I only wake up when I fall from my bed...Once a week, actually xD ...
