What Level Did anybody beat Hababa

Did anyone beat him, he appears in the Thunder plains as a boss on the side Missions his HP Is around 22,000 did anyone beat him, I did but he used meteor, My Levels are

Yuna: 52
Rikku: 54
Paine: 54

I think my levels were all pretty much around 55 when i beat him. The thing you need to remember about Humbaba is that before he dies, he casts meteor. Its a good idea to have a white mage heal all the time throughout the battle so that it wont hurt you much.

i almost beat it using a fully upgraded flora falla but my magic barrer went down and he got reound my phyical barrier so how do you beat it?

Hes not too hard handle once you get your white mage on. I used yuna as a white mage and healed every time. Its also a good idea to use protect and shell (obviously). Then I had Paine as a dark knight and used darkness everytime. Rikku was a black mage and i cast level 3 magic the whole time. If your characters are high enough, and you have enough HP left, meteor shouldnt be that big of a problem.

oh yeah, when Humbaba casts 'mighty guard' dont forget to use dispel on him or he will become unbelievably hard.

Okay: Use an Alchemist, and keep dishing out the X-potions/Mega Potions, mighty gaurd comes up use the Dispel Tonic. Have two Dark Knights use darkness on him, always (Doesn't matter Mega Potion take up the slack). Easy win. Trust me, especially if you time the chains, it's like what?! And if you can get Dark Sky in or whatever it's called, with a chained Darkness, that does well too. Just remember to keep healing with the Mega/X-Potions when he's in Mighty Gaurd phase, because that means he's about to die and when he does BOOM!

on my second try i beat him with all three of my girls around level 70 with the gunner :beer: :strut:

I was about level 55. I beat him in about 9 moves. Aka, 3 combo hits. I waited 'til the attack gauges were full attacked (Darkness counts, and so does stash). I did that for three rounds (9 attacks) and beat him. It was easy.

The first time I came up against him I was around level 50 or something, and it took me a few trys to get him . . . But I've got a whole system worked out, so he's no sweat now.

propley 30 or 40, i don't remember i used alchemist holy water+any gem a few times and that got him

Wich spell reduces meteor dmg? is it shell or protect? I'ts a spell, but seems to be a spell wich deals pysical dmg...

this guy is harder than vegnagun(and im not overexaggurating.)i beat him around lvl50 with only paine left standing on about 50-150hp(close call.)

Would'nt take much to be harder then Vegnagun, that piece of junk is a walkover. Shujin too for that sake. The beast that guards the way to vegnagun is harder.

He was easy... Tho I was level 85 when I beat him cuz of his attacks... anyway.. it was easy cuz I had Cat Nip for YRP

I think this is way more harder than vegagun cuz it only took me like 6 min to beat Vegnagun and like.. days to beat Hababa

The ladyluck dress sphere messed up my levels xD

I actually thought this was really easy. Machina maw, and all three have triple HP limit, just use homing ray, and heal when necessary.

Barrier protects against meteor (and that multi-flamey thingi that angra maiyu does as well)

i beat humbaba in the first time meet and my girls were

yuna= lvl 53 dark knight
rikku= lvl 55 warrior
paine=lvl 54 berserker


i use the most powerful attack like black sky, excalibur, and berserk over and over.
