how do you get round monser auto ability

the monsters that have magic and/or phyical barrier magic on permantly how do you get round it to do damage.

ps i only got the basic black and white magic.

If they have magic then use physical. If they have physical then use magic. But if they have both then use items.

Possibly dispel? Alchemist has a Dispel Tonic in her "stash", and White Mage his the spell, dispell.
