I went to a party last night and rather than putting on a cd and letting it play, the annoying fools decided to change cds every 5 minutes, leaping from hip hop to death metal, and then when they are playing a cd they just skip every track and find one that they like!

Does this annoy the heck out of the rest of you???!!! :mad2:

A bit.

I hate if I put on a CD & the people change it.. IT'S MY CD DAMMIT! No, seriously.. I don't mind it that much but it does annoy me a bit. If it's band I really like & it gets changed then I get annoyed.

As long as i can dance like a fool to it, i'm pretty much okay with whatever's happening on a party CD player.

Manic music flipping can get obnoxious. The ideal situation is that everyone throw all nearby CDs into a pile at the beginning of the night, and then draw the party mix at random.

I knew a girl who did that constantly while driving, to the point where she couldnt even listen to one song fully before switching around to the next song or to another CD. It drives me nuts.

Doesn't really bother me, as long as it's good music.

If it's music I don't like, then I don't really mind, as I'm not trying to listen to it anyway. If it's a genre I'm a fan of it gets annoying though.

In the senior student lounge at high school, the jock morons had thirty-second attention spans. They'd change track halfway through nearly every song. Annoyed the heck out of the minority of us who actually had brains.

I don't really get bothered when its a CD change over, but when somebody can't listen to a whole song without changing tracks I just want to strangle them. :p

If it's crappy music I don't care. If it's good music I care.

I have a bit of that habit myself, but not when others around, so it doesn't bug me too much. :)

It's really hard for me to cutoff a song midway. Doesn't really happen. I prefer making a playlist and letting it ride, or at the very least a loose collection of songs. (For me, that's different from a playlist. :p)

I live under the philosophy that albums are meant to be taken in as one big chunk. That said, when I listen to a song, it's usually along with the rest of the album that accompanies it. This probably comes from the fact that I never listen to the radio, ever.

Oh yeah, like listening to a CD in full? I do that 99% of the time too.

My bro used to grab my friends cd case and change his music when we would drive to a MTG drafts, and other activities, didn't bother me at all since I do it alot myself as well.

I don't really mind what music is played at parties, I mean it's the choice of the host, but it's just when they can't just leave music on and enjoy it.

It really bothers me, because it's jarring, and I feel like I can't relax with the music constantly being changed around. Just let the crap play, relax, enjoy.
