I should be able to scrape together the money for a world pass. I just hit level 17 yesterday, and also have to save up for Barfira and Shellra a total of 7k gil at the AH. That means a lot of farming. I'll send you a pm when I scrape up a bit more cash. I think I have about 1300 at the moment. A single Yagudo Necklace should get what I need.

That was me in a thread about my long disolved linkshell in reference to acquiring a world pass for an EoFF member. Those were the days. "A total of 7k at the AH" --> "That means a lot of farming" :eek: Wow. Also: "A single Yagudo Necklace should get what I need" - I'll never say that again, I'm sure.

I'm often making comments like "I remember when < insert item here > only cost < insert price significantly lower than the current price here >!" If one thing has changed it's the ridiculous inflation.

I rarely bought anything so I rarely had under 100k. Until I wasted almost every penny on Stiltzkin's items.

Huh?

Anyway, not much has changed except the ridiculous prices for certain items. But then again, I haven't played for that long.

Me and my wife were discussing this recently. I remember when I felt rich when I had 10k on me. People would comment about feeling broke with only 100k and I thought they were so rich. Nowadays I feel very low on funds if I don't have at least 500k on my person and saving toward a 2 mil item doesn't seem so unreasonable any more.

I use to play with my bazaar and goto valkrum and hope my stuff sells.I usually made 15k everytime I did htis.

Now I can't even do that lol no one uses pies as much as they use to in valkrum and the only reliable market on pandemonium now.Is Jeuno.

I thought I was so damn poor until I discovered ways to make like 300+k a day, but it was boring, probably what made me quit (right when I had bought that new armor too ;))

This is so true. You have to find a niche where only you or a few others are making a huge profit for something that almost nobody else does. If anyone else knew about it it would kill your profit. Aside from trading in HNM LS points for gil me and my wife have found a successful way to make 300-500k/day doing something that is surprisingly not over-done on our server.

Damn, that sucks. The most I could make is around 100k-250k a day. ; ;
