Same rules apply:

* If you made a signature and want it hosted by one of our fellow members of EoFF, please post them here, and someone will try to host it for you.

* If you want someone to make you a sig, please provide details and any images you may want to include, and someone will be nice enough to make you a signature.

Please remember to follow these important limits for signatures so that I or another staff member won't have to remove them once you've/they've gone through all of the work to make them:

Signature Limits:

A maximum width of 550 pixels.
A maximum height of 250 pixels.
These include any text in the signature outside images.
Total file size of all images combined must not exceed 50 KB (51,200 bytes).
Any signatures not following these or any signatures with questionable or problematic content will be removed/edited by staff, and you may have your signature editing privileges temporarily disabled if this happens several times.

Umm with the text, i would like me name 'Holy_Aeris' to be on it, in white maybe. And the text style to be a smooth italic, if you get ehat i mean???
The colour- i would like the colour to be a light and darkish brown, and slightly crackled, if that makes sense.

And as i would lke my avy to me the same text and colour and stuff, i would like it to be as a set with the siggy, so i hope you don't mind me asking for one in here (even though i know that there an avatar service)

I have decided to post a font tutorial, now this tutorial has been done a few times so you may have seen it before. It’s to create a text tool that looks like the Spike tv logo. Although I use it for whatever (check my signature).

First of all you need the font:

Step 1: Open up a new image if you want you can make it whatever but if you just want to test this tutorial then make it 230x110.
*inserts pic 1*

Step 2: Fill the background in with a grayish colour make sure its not to dark or to light it should be fairly neutral. It is better for it to be darker then lighter though.

Step 3: Select the text tool ‘T’ and place it in the middle and type out spike (insert your name). Make sure your font size is 72 and its set to smooth. Make sure yoyur foreground colour is white.

Step 4: Now here comes the tricky part which I have to screenshot the images which I cant be bothered doing right now so ill edit it later. Right click on your text layer and select blending options. Select inner shadow Set it to multiply>black, opacity>75% distance>0 choke>0 and size>5.

Step 5: Go to outer glow and set the mode to Screen. Opacity>75%, select an orange colour,#FFA800 for me. Spread>14% size>18. Range>50

Step 6: Go to bevel and emboss. Style>inner bevel, technique>smooth, direction>up, size>0, soften>0. highlight mode> screen (white) shadow mode>multiply (black). Both opacity’s on 75%.

Step 7: Go to gradient overlay. Blend mode>normal, opacity>100% make #FFA800 sorta in the middle of the colours so use a yellow and a dark orange. Yellow to dark orange. Angle>90 scale>100.

Step 8: Go to stroke. Size>5 if you a using a smaller thing then 230x110 then set to stroke appropriately. Position>outside, blend mode>normal, opacity>100, fill type>colour, colour>(black).

Now that’s it although you may want to select new style on the side so you keep this and don’t have to do it everytime. *inserts pic* and that should be your result now combine it wit my background tutorial and you have go yourself a signature….well missing some images but maybe we can coax Xander into making an image tutorial.

ultima, the filesize of the signature you made is still a little too big, please try and get it under 50k. If you use Save for web in Photoshop or something, you should be able to. I can do it for you, if not.

Lol no problem :) and I put the avatars on there aswell I'll put them here again so you can choose which one you want, all you have to do for them is right click save to hard drive then upload it in the avatar section of the user cp.

You'll find that the pictures can be GIF, as GIF's the only format that people tend to use to get the pictures under 5kb. I'll load it up to my site then just upload the link on the avatar options.

When I try and do that CTRL + U thing Khaotic it doesn't do anything to the background I've made. Why? I tried doing clouds as background and then I wanted to make it starry etc, but it's not changing colour. I wanted to attempt Rusty's sig but I can't do that without knowing how to do the different colours and I'm really struggling :/

lol I'm running back and forth on pcs atm louby doing your sig so I'll do the avatar too. but I'm afraid I'd be able to host it on photobucket under Skye Creations album for a while and then transfer it to my site (cause it'll be going on there anyway. When I tick the colourise option it changes the background to a brown colour, and it still wont let me actually put anything onto it.
You have to play with the options they give you, move the bars around until you find the color you're looking for, the top one changes color, the middle one changes the intensity of the color, and the last one makes it brighter or darker, which I rarely use, basically the first two are the ones you're looking for.

Well currently I have no internet access from my pc, we got cut off yesterday, and I don't have a floppy disk so I'm running back and forth to this pc to try and do it.

I can upload stuff to Photobucket through this pc but I can't upload stuff to my site as it's FTP based only, and I need an FTP program to upload it. I'm not allowed to download on this pc so I can't upload the sig to my site until I get net access back.

So basically what I'm saying is, (because I'll have the sig on my site anyway I may aswell host it.) I put the image on skye creation's photobucket album, give you the link, then when I get net back I upload it to my site and pm you with the link, you pm me when you have changed it I delete the sig on photobucket site. Understand? lol it's confusing but yeah

Right ok I'm sorry to do this but due to unforseen circumstances, would someone please be able to take over Lou's sig. After attempting to do it and running back and forth to this pc I've now run out of CD's. (My pc doesn't have a floppy drive which sucks and these pc's have different burning software so I can't make them writable again.) I'm really sorry.

Also on another note. Could someone take over Rusty's sig too please. She did ask for someone to do it twice and although I said I'd attempt it I'm afraid the same applies to her.

Anyone who has been told to ask me for a sig, I'm afraid this applies for you too. (-TIDUS- & PrincessYuna, or anyone else who has recommended to other people, please do not recommend me to anyone else as I'm unable to do this, and please if you do recommend people in future ask people not to pm me for sig requests. If they want a sig they must request in this thread for a sig or if they wish for me specifically to do their sig to request on the Skye Creations forums. My PM's are for my private messages only, not for sig requests.) Thank you.
