Am currently loving Comeback Kid and The Legacy at the moment.

yah punk is the best. try green day and the offspring.I think Chaos was referring to more 'Hardcore' genres. Despite sounding colloquial, it is actually a defined type. Easy to get confused.

I'm not really into it too much, only really heard Refused and Crydebris, which sounded good.

Try checking out The Locust, not exactly punk but very good, very hard. I usually listen to more melodic punk myself (The Adicts, Narcoleptic Youth), but offhand I can suggest GBH, Subhumans, and Resist and Exist. Maybe a bit of Total Chaos, but they piss me off.

Refused, good band, I prefere a bit of anarcho-punk myself though.

Anti-Flag (although not really 'hardcore') The Casualties, The Virus, Virus Nine, The Unseen and Oi Polloi (hardest of the bunch, by far) are some of my favorite punk bands.
