Knowing there was a reward, I didn't take the 5 gil, but the pheonix downs were stolen. Every time I played. The first time, I didn't even bother to put her in my party, except when forced. I also killed her, revived her, she would use the cover materia I put on her, die again, I revive her, kill her, revive her, she covers and dies, revive her, you get the picture. :bow: :evilking:

I leave the 5 gil because if you do the boy gives a Turbo Ether when you return later. I always take the 10 Phoenix Downs though. I need them more than the baby chicks do.

The first time I played I took the gil because I didn't know about the turbo eather, and I always take the 10 phoenix downs. But I am a good girl who saves the world, and only kills characters when they make me angry with them :fpangel:

I don't remember about the 5 gil, but I just couldn't take the 10 Phoenix Downs, especially when I had both Tifa and Aeris in my party saying how cute the birds were.

Yes i always take the kids 5 gil. Its his fault he leaves it ungaurded and blurts out where it is in his sleep. He reminds me of my sister. Sleep talking and all. I also always take the 10 pheonix downs from those annoying birds. The first time i didnt take them cos i thought something bad would happen but after that i sorta thought, meh......what the hec :D

After you leave Costa Del Sol, you go to Mt. Corel (with the many rollercoaster like tracks).



Run along the tracks until you come to a little hut, the switch inside will
lower the bridge below. Now look at the slanted wall just outside of the hut, examine it around the middle to climb up. At the top there is a nest of birds, you can choose to take the treasure of not. The treasure is 10 Phoenix Downs and you'll have to fight a normal enemy.

lol good question, first time i played i took the gill (never knew there was a prize) and i always take the pheonix downs, what would birds want with them ? they sould have protected them better :tongue:

and even if u leave the boys money u only do it so that u get the pize, so still a bit selfish in my opinion, but then again, who cares ?

I always take the Pheonix Downs but never the 5 gil. And he was a lazy bum who could have at least tried to find a job at the Gold Saucer or something and he gave a little info on Corel...I think I can't remember

He was just filler for a room with two items. They might as well have not included him and just had the items like that tent by the glacier.
