More Ores = higher success rate for Zantetsuken. Also, you can synth them into other stones, which power up other summons.

hmm well the fastest way to me is going to myst countinent and near the qu marsh there on the light green grass area fight with horse-bird monster (dont remember the name) and steal from it a ore and when it dies ull win a peridot, so double efective comparing to other monsters...
