About Garnet... is she annoying?

Hmm... let's see. what do you think about Princess Garnet Til Alexandros the 13th (or whatever) or Miss Sarah, or just plain Dagger? Do you think she's annoying (in your point of view)? In my opinion, it's kind of half-half. Sometimes, I get a little annoyed, and sometimes, you know. "Great move, Dag!" or something like that...

What do you think??

As for Garnet, she's not annoying compared to some other weak and dependent female characters (ex: well, insert your least favorite here), but she has her moments. The thing that does annoy me is her lack of skill in battle. Sure I've taught her some summons, but she's not the most valuable team member I have. Not even close. :rolleyes2

You know, your probably the first person in the last few months I've been here who's insulted Vivi. I'm not angry like others might be, since Vivi was a good character in my opinion but not the best, I'm just a little suprised to find someone who actually hates Vivi.

Garnet's probably my favorite character in FFIX. She has her weak points and she gets rescued a few times, but that didn't really annoy me. She had to go through a lot of things anyway. And I like the way that the love story and relationship develop between her and Zidane. It's not all soap and kisses.

I'm guessing she reminds a lot of people of girls they love, since so many people seem to take such a liking to her ¬_¬
Personally I found her mildly irritating, mostly due to Zidane.
Her stubborness and general ignorance was not redeemed later on, and I never saw her character develop much at all...just a few weak gestures and remarks. C'mon, even Steiner managed to develop a little bit! Someone convince me otherwise!

I found her annoying every now and then... but in a way it was alright. Garnet WAS a princess... so I am glad they made her act like one. It would've been a lot worse if they made her ... I dunno, 'un-princess-like' for lack of better words.
