I fail at life.

In the six weeks in Hong Kong I've managed to:

- Drop my HDD so that I lose 120 gigs of files
- Rip out the IDE cable connector in my usb-ide device (ps: is there a way to fix it?)
- Burn out my alarm clock thanks to the 240V electric line (the converter doesn't act as a surge protector or something..dunno)
- Similarly burned out my 5 year old battery charger which has been with me since the dawn of adulthood

And now my aunt's got a trojan or something messing up her desktop computer. Hopefully I can get that fixed.

And I still have a laptop that shuts down every 5 mins (if I post this thread it's a miracle), and I have a 100+ page work manual to write within the time I am in Hong Kong

I know what you're going through, man. When I first upgraded my computer, I blew two processors. Then when I got my new case, I didn't realize I needed to put risers in it for the mobo and shorted that out.

Plus the numerous other times I've severly fucked up other people's computers when I was supposed to fix them.

So far today I've gotten out of bed, got dressed, been visited by a family member and got cramps and it's not even lunch time yet.

My lecturers are all on strike today. No uni for me.

Got my car fixed (five minute job, cost nothing - yay!).

Afterward, I drove to the leather store to buy some fur, leather and thongs.

The leather is to make a forearm bracer to protect my wrist during archery; the thongs (leather cords) will tie the bracer on. The fur will be handy for making warm stuff.
