It's pretty. GREEN. I like that, because out here in California, most of the hills are brown, and foliage-less. :(

The population of London is greater than the entire population of Ireland.

So, everyone is very spread out.

Oh, and you can cut an Irish pint into slices and eat it with a fork.

I thought the Titanic was built in Liverpool...or at least launched there.........

Anyways Ireland is great because........

*no one in the world (except us Newfs) can out-drink ye, laddy.

*Guiness!!

*The first telegraph cable, which carried morse code (before radio signals), that ran accross the sea floor of the Atlantic came from Valentia, Ireland to Heart's Content, Newfoundland (where I grew up) back in 1866

*Caffery's!

*Kilkenny!

*And ye've got lots of grass. :D

Titanic was built at the Harland and Wolfe shipyards in Ireland along with the whole white star line. The dock is still there, (If you claim the massive yellowie thingies they give you a certificate!)

"how's yer taypot"

Ireland has extreme beauty: the green, green, grass of home xD, mountainous beaches and rural cliffs.

My thoughts exactly. Also, the way people you don't even know greet you amiably (this probably happens in any rural part of any country, but I'll persist in my ignorance) and last but not least the way in which old men in suits ride about on mopeds. You just can't imitate Ireland.

The people, the land (especially Inis Mór  ), the language... the simple fact, really, that you're not going to find anywhere else in the whole world like it.

That and Guinness.
