After spending like 15 years in stinky London, Im finally leaving it. Im heading over too big apple New York !
After my mum has to do buisness over there, she was very kind and said that me and my sister can come..
So, I baisically want the lowdown on what to

1. Do
2. Go
3. Shop
4. Eat

And is it any good over there, or just Overrated

New York is awesome. Unfortunatly, I don't live in the city of it. I want to move there one day though.

I'm easily entertained, so I like to go to Central Park and look at the animals in the zoo. The park is really nice, and they have hot dog stands all around, I love NY hotdogs. You have to be careful with them though, my Dad says.

Around Central Park are a lot of little stands that sell things. Those are often rip offs, much too expensive.

Coney Island isn't that far from NYC, it has a lot of rides in it, and it has an aquarium near by. I've only been to Coney Island once, but it was nice.

There are so many shops in NYC that you won't have to worry where to shop, but I like the shops around Rockafella Center and the Virgin Music Store on Time Square.

And I dunno if you're into Museaums, but there are a lot of nice ones there. The Museaum of Natural History is cool.

They have a very large theatre in NYC, Sony Imax I think it's called, though I've never been to it.

And don't let anyone tell you that there are wild thugs and robbers running about New York City, or at least in the heart of it. It's the outskirts you gotta be careful for. There are so many people in NYC that I think it's pretty safe.

1. 9/11, Satue of Liberty, if you don't mind an hour or two in a car, you could do DC (smithsonian, that pointy tower, I think its Washington munument), and maybe Gettysburg

Oh, and there is a large amount of shops under Rockafella Center too. My Dad says they have an elevator or staircase or something nearby where you go down and they have blocks of shops.

So far im looking forward to

1. Shopping ( Clothes shops mainly, however the pain of seeing the Xeno series and FF tactics is very overwelming as I know I cant play them )
2. Eating Bread ( meant to taste alot different than UK's )
3. Going on EOFF in the States ( Hotel gonna have Internet )
4. Watching TV ( Jerry Springer said that American TV is 5 years ahead of British TV ( Ill be the judge of that ) )
5. Looking at the sites ( aka : Shops )

Empire State, Ground Zero, Bronx Zoo, etc. Black Star (Mos Def and Talib Kweli) are from there, so check out if any gigs are playing. If you're old enough, I'd definitely suggest the nightlife - there are nice lounges, jazz clubs, dance clubs, and bars.
