The information in the link provided seems pretty accurate, just wanted to emphasize to pay particular attention to the Trine and Pandora's Box strategies, since you have limited oppurtunities to learn them.

That's true for Trine, but Dragon Zombies can be fought any number of times as a random encounter by exploring one of the two paths you're prompted to choose between near the end of the Northern Crater (the right path).

But as far as I know, Trine can only be learned from Yuffie's father at the top of the Wutai pagoda, or from the Stilvas during the Great Glacier event.

And Edit:

I was looked through the FFShrine link above, and I'm not sure how accurate the information regarding Pandora's Box is. I thought I remembered times where I've fought many Dragon Zombies before learning the enemy skill, but I might be wrong. Better follow the FFShrine advice just in case.

Trine can also be learned from Materia Keeper in Mt. Nibel (The boss you fight to get into Rocket Town the first time you ever go to Mt. Nibel that's NOT in a dream land ;D)

There might be a bug in the first PSX version of FFVII because only the first Dragon Zombie I encountered on the right path could cast Pandora's Box, and the later ones never did. I must have slaughtered hundreds of Dragon Zombies in the vain attempt to get them to cast that miserable spell. :mad2:

Then I started a new game, saved before taking the right path, and the first Dragon Zombie cast Pandora's Box, no problem. So use the site's strategy, even if you don't have the bug.

I've heard that the Dragon Zombies in the central pit toward Jenova Synthesis will cast Pandora's Box normally, but you can't backtrack at that point.

This is why I like you.
