Is there a limit of 9999 characters for a PM but no limit for posting on the forums? I think some sort of limit needs to be put on the forums just so that people like me don't get the urge to post a 180 page post :erm:

There is, in fact, a limit on post size for the forums and it happens to be about 16MB = the data size of a mySQL mediumtext column type. :D

I'd assume that Admins would only look at PM's if there was a complaint from a member of abuse. If they were being abused in PM they'd need proof and sometimes it's not reliable for someone to just paste what another person has said. I'd assume that's where the admins come in if they do have those priviledges.
