Garnet: better w/short or long hair?

But yes her hair did look much better long, because the game is in a "medievil" type of time. Personally with short hair she looks like a page boy and doesn't really suit it in all respect. Her hair short doesn't fit in with the time style/theme of the game but she's pretty regardless <3

Maybe so chris but their sprites look like their based on the same characters :P The personalities may be different but well to be honest Garnets the only one who seems to have some improvement with her.

They're all worried about the way things turn out, They're always trying to knock sense into the main character "Cloud, Squall & Zidane" making (because those characters are all sarcastic gits ;D) and their hair is sooooooooooooo the same. ;D I mean they all even have a fringe that brushes to one side :p

Long hair is more appropriate and suitable, but her menu screen icon looks weird, hmm.
I don't agree with her hair being the same style as Tifa's. Garnet's is a long, almost bushy ponytail, whereas Tifa has the extremely attractive dolphin's tail thing going.
The fringe thing looks cute on Tifa, but not for the others :p

yuna had a side fringe too, I think rinoas hairs better out of the three because its more realistic and looks most like mine :D infact Ashe will break the trend of brunettes, but even she also has the famous side fringe (abit of topic- sowwy)

I think the characters from ff8 look more realistic. FF7 = too Anime type, you could tell it wasn't human, FF8 = the people/characters looked far more realistic. But in FF9 they looked far too cutesy/small to look real, I don't know why it turned out like that xD I love all of them though.

Both of them! I like Garnet with long hair, as it portrays a kind and matured woman/girl/princess. She's also very attractive with it, but the short hair is very cute, too, as I agree ThroneOfDravaris

I agree with that statement, as it makes her look more cuter and attractive in a very different way. Innocent way perhaps? It makes her look like a carefree person, but naturally, long and short hair looks both good on her. I just prefer short a little more. :D

short hair in my belief is the winner, gives her more of a spunk then rinoa and tifa since they both look pretty much the same..and so does garnet with her hair long, they need to have made some changes then the dark brown hair for all 3 characters in those final fantasy games...im up for red hair :D

Unfortunately Ashe has blonde hair. That's the FFXII girl, right? Well, at least the main character is named Vaan. I've been naming the main character Van whenever my name doesn't fit, so that's neat. But the girl, man. Blonde hair AND almost the same name as that Pokemon kid. I hope I can get into the game. Hopefully, in FFXIII, they let you design the main characters. I'd make them look like FF PSX main characters. Long black hair, oh yeah baby.

i liked it both ways, actually. like Lenna said, the longness went really well with the times they were in. the short was kind of refreshing though. it was more of a i'm-not-a-princess-but-i-still-rock thing. i loved it. i was considering doing it with my own hair, but i figured it probably wouldn't work as well as it did in the game.... :riiight:

Well, I wanted to state my opinion. I'm shy about sharing opinions, usually, so I thought I'd state my opinion in this topic. In real life, I get shy when sharing opinions. Usually, on message boards, I'm the only one who thinks that Garnet is the best character. When I say that Dagger is my favorite, Garnet is my favorite, people give their opinions. So I wanted to say that Garnet/Dagger is my favorite to see if their were other fans. My boyfriend's a fan too. We both think that Garnet is the best. I just wanted to see if other people were also fans. Any fans here?

Yes, I understood the comment. ^_^ I'm glad that there's Garnet fans on this forum. I'm a Garnet fan, Garnet has a great personality and Garnet is my favorite character out of every game. I like all the Final Fantasy games. Garnet's the best character. I like all the characters, Garnet/Dagger/Garnet is my favorite. ^_^

I think Garnet is the best with long hair, but Garnet is great in both versions. Abrojtm, what is that comment about? Is it a prejudice comment about people, judging people by their hairstyle? Can someone PM this person to ask what that comment was? I have long hair, but once my hair got cut because someone cut it without asking me. My hair went from very long to short to long after that person cut my hair without asking, but it grew long again in a few years and is now longer then before. It took years to grow back, but now my hair is longer then it was before the hair cut happened. My boyfriend now jokes that he's going to cut my hair with a knife, after he heard the story I said. When my boyfriend met me, it was years after the hair cut, so he never knew me during the time I had that hair cut. He's never seen that hair cut I had at that time. I went through the same haircut Garnet did, my hair was long and then got cut and then grew back and it was during the same year the game came out. So when I was playing the game, it was right when the game first came out, a few months after the hair cut I had. It was an interesting coincidence. Garnet is my favorite character, too. I'm 17, I'll be 18 in January, the same month as Garnet's birthday, and my hair is almost as long as Garnet's long hair. Garnet is also my birthstone.
