Yes!!
J Rock.
Anyone else listen to it?
If you don't, I strongly suggest you start.
My favorites are:
Malice Mizer
Dir en Grey
The Pillows (the people who did FLCL's music)
and my all time favorite is:

I love J Rock.

I haven't heard anything J-Rock besides some song by Gackt. It was kinda weird, he sounded like he was sitting on a shaking washing machine when he sang it, he had an insane vibrato going on, though it was strangly enjoyable. J-Rock and J-Pop aren't too different to me.

If anyone wants who hasn't heard any J rock, or just if anyone wants, contact me and I'd b more then happy to give you a song or two.... or three.....

Alright, but how am I going to?
I was thinking I'd use AIM or Yahoo, but you don't have them do you? e-mail won't work. You can't do attachments.

No, I don't have those. There's no way you could PM me the link or something?

Mad Capsule Markets kick arse. Good Girl and Tribe were great songs.

The Mad Capsule Markets are my favourite band in the entire world, I love every single one of their songs that i've heard, which is quite a few. They just destroyed my whole musical world when I heard them because I'd never heard anything quite like it and doubt I ever will again.

I'm currently also listening to Dragon Ash - Yuri no saku Bisho de, which is a suave song. :}

There's j-rock rotation sites you could point people to.

I think my favorite band is Merry.

Face and I also discuss the glorious merits of x-Japan from time to time in #eoff.

But I love merry xD They have this distinct tinge to them where you can hear one of their songs and think 'oh, that's those guys.' Haraiso and Japanese Modernist are awesome songs. (man what's with me and listening to all these bands with political messages? first soad and now merry xD)

I enjoyed Malice Mizer also, but you can only use an organ so long before it all starts sounding the same.

Pretty much the only J-Rock I've listened to is from The Pillows, but they're amazing.

I've never been bothered to go out of my way to listen to it. It doesn't sound very appealing, since I don't like J-Pop, and the two, from what I've heard, seem to be similar.

I just downloaded a few songs, and it sounds a lot better than I thought it would. I was expecting some cruddy techno rock/pop with some japanese guy screaming.

They're about as similar as English pop and rock.

I like.... Orange Range and See-Saw ._. I don't know many of the J-Rockers XD

I've heard a song by Gackt, I just don't know what it was. It was on this looooooooong list of songs and I started listening to it in the middle. It was on a plane flight.

Now I'm hearing different things. :strung:

Still, I prefer to be able to understand the words that a band sings. I like the Japanese language, but I don't know it.
