Was My Post Deleted for a Reason

I rescently left a post in General Chat about the female boxer who will be fighting a man on Aug 20th. I dont see it anywhere. Was it deleted for some reason I dont know about?

It wouldn't have been deleted. It'd have been closed.

And according to your "find all threads started by etc" you never made a thread like that.

Yes, Staff does do deleting of posts, but not threads. Except in rare cases, threads are closed, not deleted. Posts are soft deleted on a regular basis though. Which thread was it in?

hmmmm maybe I thought I started the thread but realy didnt , it was about a pretty cool article I fund, Ill try and repost and see what happens. I thought I leftb it in general chat. Oh well Ill do it one more time.

Sometimes I wonder how many posts were lost just because the person forgot to hit "reply to thread".

And then they looked around and thought the only explanation is it must have been deleted.
