Mine is Balamb Garden, If simply because I loved the tune before hand.

"shuffle or boogie", definitely. it's the cutest thing ever, no idea why. maybe it's because i fell asleep listening to it and had a dream where me and my friend were dancing to it....? hmm, something to think about.

Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec is even more delightfully creepy on this album:D

Laguna's theme is l33t also, and blue fields is even tolerable.

SeeD is good and i really liked the man with the machine gun but i prefer the music of other final fantasy's to this one (cept 9)

Anyone else despise "Eyes on Me"? (No offense to those who like it) And how there's about ten versions on the game with different names... although "Julia's Piano" is ok.

Balamb Garden. You really feel like it's a school and you're part of it thanks to the music. Also 'Eyes on me' when you watch the ending. And the credits (forgot the name of that song).

The Ending Theme is my favorite song in FFVIII OST. It's fully orchestral, and it has pretty much everything: Eyes on Me reprised, the main Final Fantasy theme, Liberi Fatali theme and the Prelude theme.

EYES ON ME!!! Actually, the track I like best is Waltz for the Moon . . . if there was ever a live recording of that, it would beat out the Faye Wong version.

Also, The Extreme is one of the best final boss battle songs ever (IMHO)

The best slow: Love Grows.
The best fast: The Extreme. It made me feel I was there fighting Ultimecia... my adrenaline was at the top! It began so mysterious and then so overwhelming.
Nobuo Uematsu (sorry if it's not well written) is a pro!
