The Attack Button was just a fun thing. I wouldn't mind seeing it back, but it's really useless.

It wasn't broken, and yet someone tried to fix it, and destroyed part of EoFF history in the process. Now, like the National Trust, we're attempting to restore this ancient Eyeson institution, and perhaps create a poorly translated audio guide for it as well. :)

I don't think there's any major point in doing anything to the styles until vB3.5.0 is released. We'll probably have to re-do most of the styles at that point anyway, or at least tweak them a bit. We'll see how it goes.

The 'attack' button was a little sword icon beneath everyone's posts.
The cursor hover text said, "attack this member!" and clicking the button produced a window that said "To your weapons lads, ATTACK! DIE SCUM DIE!"

Problem was, millions of people made threads in Feedback, General Chat and FFI-IV asking what it did, concerned that there'd be come permanent and meaningful consequence of using the button. So it was removed.
I liked it, but meh. It'd be cool to see it back someday.
