Well, it was quite obvious, they were a bit drunk and did you see the way they were positioned, with the legs and everything, just, the game couldnt really show you em having it, because of reasons. They did kiss a lot too i bet. and, i bet Snake was waiting for that day.

Basically, you can't trust anything that's told to Raiden over the Codec from the point where the Colonel starts to malfunction.
