My cat hates it when I give him a bath, I love to wash him... but he doesn't seem to like it.
Do you have a cat and does it like to get wet?

P.S: That ugly cat in the picture is NOT mine. :upsidedow

I have 5 cats and none of them like to get wet.

(As far as I know....)

(Purr, the youngest kitty in the family, likes to sit in the bathtub when it's not full of water and when it's hot out.)

That poor horrid kitty!

I dont bathe my cats. They keep themselves clean and I use Advantage for their fleas, which works better than a flea dip ever has regardless.

My cats like to drink from the faucet but they dont like getting wet, though Ringo does seem to like to nuzzle the faucet while it's running and get some on his head.

One of my cats actually doesn't seem to really mind getting wet. He looks mildly uncomfortable, but never runs off in terror or attempts to claw you to death like our other cat does.

i'm afraid of his eyes :greenie:
I did this once, then the cat was afraid of water too and she went standing above my head (my poor hair).

I mean does water burns the cat like holy water burns a vampire?

My mom told me the story of how she tried to give her cat a shower and had intense clawmarks up her legs when he fought to get away from the water.

My cat aomy enjoys sleeping in both the sinks and bathtub. I'm not sure if he just likes the enclosed area/safety from our kitten, or if he likes being so near to water. I haven't really tried to find out.

Good question...
