What's your favorite barbeque foods? Mine's grilled barbeque fish, chicken, eggplant, burgers... and barbeque apples. I just love barbeque... I just love it, love it.

So?

I haven't eaten much BBQ. Chicken and hamburgers, and those foods, in my opinion, are just plain nasty when barbequed. :mad2:

Typically I find that real barbeque smells better than it tastes.

It's just, I don't associate 'sweet' with barbeque, and when it smells all good, but tastes sweet, it's just nasty.

Chicken, burgers, steak, brisket, ribs. Fish and rattlesnake are good too, but not the top of the list.

And it shouldn't taste "sweet." That sounds disgusting.

Fort Worth is sort of known for its barbecue, above all other kinds of food. :) I think we once deemed ourselves the Barbecue Capital of the World or something, but other cities have done that, too. xD

Erm...I love brisket. Cousin's Pit Barbecue Brisket. Or chopped beef. I love pickles with barbecue.

Hafta agree with Chris here. BBQ'd anything is the best. I just smoked a half dozen beef shoulder ribs yesterday and they were awesome.

Of course BBQ is only the best when you make your own sauce too. :chef:

Being a barbeque connoisseur and purist, I want to point out that when you cook on a propane grill you are NOT barbequeing, but grilling. Cooking over direct heat, like a propane grill, is grilling. Cooking with indirect heat, like charcoal, is barbequeing. And cooking with smoke is, well, smoking. :chef:

I fully agree with Mullet. It ain't barbecue unless it's done over charcoal.

Chili's Caribbean baby back ribs. I pushed my family into Chili's yesterday to get a hold of the Mix and Match platter where you get to choose two half racks of any type of ribs. I chose Caribbean and Chili's original. Needles to say, I was in heaven. I finished both racks and wanted more.
