Here are a couple of CD covers I designed for my band (who don't actually exist yet...) Comments welcome.

Its taking long as hell to load...

Edit: These disigns are kick ass!!My fav. is the first but the second is just a hair under it...

Not that the designs are bad, but, given the colored pencil design, they look a little...well, childish. Maybe that was intentional, I don't know. If you re-did the colors in Photoshop you could probably get a more professional looking cover.

Azar, you have a good point, but the problem is that I don't have Photoshop...

And I'm sorry about the ridiculous loading times.

I definitely like both of them but the first one is my fav! The second one needs some more stuff, it's a little too plain.. But great job! :D

I like the first design the most. I really recommend doing that in Photoshop and draw it up again, CG it, or use real photos for it.

I'd love to, but I don't have Photoshop. :cry: This is causing some serious drawbakcs, I need to get it.

Tom, this isn't a thread about the band who, by the way, still don't exist, and I'd never do Indie. I'm gonna do grunge with Will instead, because this is going nowhere. Indie isn't my scene.

Dont bother trying to make them look better in photoshop they are already perfect, well a little bit of contrast would help..

Your covers remind me that one from The Cure..

I think they're wicked. Great designs. Hmmm.....If I was browsing at c.d's tho I think I would be attracted to the first one more. (If it were outta the two) The Second is heaps good too. But thats just what I think.
It's Heaps Better then anything I could come up with. :D :D :D
