Ok, im probs gonna sound real stupid for saying this: Red 13's dad is trapped in stone, so why dnt they give him a 'soft' and un-stone him

The same reason you could un-stone Palom and Porom in Final Fantasy IV: "Don't worry about it."

that would suck to be stuck in a stone just staring of in2 nothingness but if Seto can cry how come he cant do anything else?

it was actually condensed water from the higher altitude landing on his cold stone surface that trickled down.

Strawberry_Mew mentioned that it's the same as how we couldn't use a phoenix down on aeris, but it's not the same. u can't use a phoenix down on aeris because phoenix downs are to revive KO'ed people (knocked out). Aeris was actually dead, no KO'ed, and that's why they couldn't just use a phoenix down. Plus seto's probably dead anyway, he's been sittin as a stone for years, no food and completely petrified. so there'd be no point in using a soft anyway lol

It's funny how Aeris can take numberous gunshots and sword swipes, but is murdered from one fell swoop of a long blade.

When you think they're dead in battle, they're just unconscience. When they actually die, they're dead. As for Seto, who cares? It would ruin the scene of Red XIII howling into the moon mouring over his brave father's death.

Seto was impaled by a swarm of poisoned spears. You can see them sticking out of his shoulders... the combined effect was probably so powerful that a regular Soft couldn't restore him. Even if they could cure his petrification, there'd still be the issue of all the damage his body had taken.

get a supersort + something to heal his wounds, then he will be ok, but untill u can get a supersoft out of FFIX and some powerful cuing/reviving item, u can have him back

it's very funny how people ask such questions.....Seto was frozen for a reason...if he wasnt up there frozen nanaki would still think his dad didnt care much for his town and that he fleed in fright.

If Seto can still cry, then does that mean he can still Pee?

because it's a game and bound by certain rules that link to the story? yep that's right.
