Man many times people ask me...who is Klonoa? Has no one ever heard of him here? I like his games, most of them are platformers but are pretty solid platformers for the most part. Its unfortunate that his Legend of the Star Medal game wasnt out here as its look like to be the best since the original with RPG/Adventure look to it. So who heres actually knows who he is? Seems to be a more Japanese thing than American...its yoru fault we never got that GBA game ; ;

Yeah, I know Klonoa. I played the second one at Wal-mart a couple times when they had a PS2 demo of it. That's as far as it goes, though.

I've played one of the GBA games... it was pretty spiffy.

I played, like, the PS2 demo of it.

Oh, and Presea dresses up as Klonoa in Tales of Symphonia.

When she's in costume, all she can say is "Wahoo!", it's quite adorable.

Klonoa 2 is a GREAT game. Reminded me of the big side-scroller days of SNES. A little short though, I beat it in less than a few hours.

You know i am just wondering, is Klonoa REALLY that obscure a character in the United States? I never thought so but some people never heard of him O_o

I played him on a demo that came with my PS2. It was fun.

Ehh... Most Americans are big on Graphics-Heavy, Competion or Mission-based games.. Klonoa is pretty much an old school style, that really wouldn't ever get that popular over hear. Sad, as it really is a wonderful game.

Klonoa splashed 2D and 3D together and pulled it off pretty well
But im not sure if people were wanting that and so Jak + Ratchet kinda overshadowed it which is a shame

I only ever played the demo of Klonoa 2, but it was a pretty decent game with a cool visual style. The series just never made it into the mainstream, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at things. At least it hasn't been ruined like Crash Bandicoot was.

Even though it isnt ruined it never made it into popularity and the RPG/Adventure game they had never made it to the states outside of japan where "cool" and "cute" stuff reign D: Its kinda sad i was looking forward to that Star Medal game, looks fun from the japanese commercials.
