Does anyone here read Terry Brooks? I'm re-reading one of his novels right now and was noticing some similarities between his characters and Final Fantasy characters but I don't want to get into it if no one's read the book. I talk to myself enough as it is.

Yeah , I'm a fan of some 4 years now - I've read the full Sword of Shannara saga, halfway through the Heritage saga ( if I could get a hold of Elf Queen from my local library ... ) and I'm reading Tanequil, part two of the Druid saga.

Bah, and one of the similarities is in a book you haven't read.

I heard the Wishsong wasn't too good in terms of plot.

They're all different, kind of like the Final Fantasies are different. It all depends upon your taste I guess.

But I loved the Druid of Shannara - excellent book.

C'mon , are there any other Brooks fans out there ?!

If there aren't everyone should try reading the books, they're really good.

I read the magic kingdom series. Good books. I'm to lazy to read his other stuff.
