Metroid and nothing else. It was the only series that didn't turn gay and get over complicated, with descendants and ancestors (Zelda) and new models (Megaman aargh) and Selphie ( :lol: ). Just a bounty huntress, her awesome battle suit, and some space pirates just begging to be mercilessly slaughtered by your power beam. :D

In any event, I do like Final Fantasy, so it's probably one of my favorites, and I enjoy the Xeno series. I really do wish they had made all of the Xenogears games, that was a wonderful game that deserved to be made in full.

The Zone of the Enders series is a great series as well. Baldur's Gate has always been enjoyable, and I recall many a wasted summer on BGII.

I'm sure there are more to list, but I'm too lazy to do so.
