X by far, i found it had a much better storyline to it, and all the world was new, with x-2 your revisiting the same areas e.t.c! storyline is not at all as good as x!

Own X rent X-2 to see all the places and it feels more like another ending. Scenes were better in X-2 with Rikku and Brother

Hmmm, 10 had a better story line.

X-2 had better graphics, music and a better fighting system.

You could argue that 10 was more challenging, but since my 10 doesn't have dark aeons, then X is no more challenging that X-2.

All things considered, 10-2 was better.

Considering that 10-2 has no aeons and no overdrives can be a good reason not many people like it as much as 10.

na like don't like the aeons anyway they just got in the way for me i mean wats the point of using a aeon tht takes off 99,999 when u character can do tht in a normal attck

the only complaint i have bout X-2 is i think the story is good, but i think they went the rong way bout playing it out, sum scenes i found embaressing to watch, dont make me pin point one, been a while since ive played, but i no they r there!

Really I love FFX but the battle system in FFX-2 was awesome. I think that FFX is better in a story line but FFX-2 is better in combat system play.

i think it's stupid that x - 2 has about 5 endings i could understand 2 endings but five the 2 that should be there is the 1 where vegnagun destroy's spira and the 1 where tidus comes bak to besaid and the yuna and tidus talk in zarnarkand when tidus says he's still a dream and he might dissapear 1 day

You speak do harshly of a game that inspired the one you love so much. You should be more appreciative that a sequel was made so you can love it so much. Personally, if I had hated a game as much as you say you hate X, I certainly would not have bought and played the sequel......

yah that doesnt make sense that you would but the sequel. but w/e. i think x is better. storyline is better. characters are better. and i would say it's more challenging. the battle systm in x-2 was awesome but altogether it just didn't compare.

I'll have to admit that FFX-2 is better than FFX in terms of the battle system and the dressphere design but X-2 cannot turn the tables over X in one category: Story.

In FFX, you can actually feel the story marching to the beat of your own drum. You can actually feel it.

Plus FFX-2 wasn't really that much of a challenge. Vegnagun and Shuyin were truly disappointing for last bosses. I defeated them without completing the skills of all dresspheres and even the special ones.

So FFX for me!

What were u thinking?!? FFX beats FFX-2 in no time! IMO FFX-2 was just a cheap copy of FFX...

FFX-2 wasn't even fun. No mini games, no loveable super bosses like all others did, too god damn easy too!

Yeah, FFX-2 is only kinda fun. Just kinda. It's just that the status of the game is far too imbalanced. The good guys, erm...girl are all fully equipped with dresspheres all varying in attacks and spells not to mention those special dresspheres. But the bad guys, they're all just to cheap.

FFX-2 could have been better if they contained fragments of the story that had direct connection to FFX and only if they eliminated those blasted mini-games that occupy 75% of your playtime.

FFX is better. Better music, better storyline, better battle system (although i really liked the dress spheres) you got more out f playing X than X-2 too. I preferred being able to switch the party as well I dont like my party being dictated.

well i would say is FFX because everything is more COMPLETE

talking about the story line FFX had a standard storyline that for you to complete but in X-2 you have the option to chose your path, if u only concern about finishing the game it only take you 6 hours, and i hated when u have the choice to choose ending. Plus they lied to us, when they were advertising X-2 it seems like is a story that Yuna is looking for Tidus but the game is basiclly about Paine's history but eventually connect to 1000 years ago that's Tidus world. i though we were fooled by the commerical at the first time after i knew what was happening in the game

about the battle system FFX had the biggest mistake is letting u when the turns, it makes you know when the boss is gonna attack so it screw up the challenging battle system. in X-2 although the dresssphere is good but how often will u use that. for myself i only use i white mag and 2 warriors to defeat every boss on X-2

I like how Yuna looked in X-2 but gameplay and storyline are way better in X. Music is good in both games but the music during the ending sequence with to zanarkand playing during the I love you scene in X is breathtaking, X-2's perfect ending is ok too. But if your into the charlies angels whole girlfest thing then X-2 all the way but I would play FFX 5 times before I played X-2 again.
