i always went to omega dungeon for gil and exp. mimics give 50,000 gil each kill, not to mention the gil form the zaurus its with.

the best way is to fight one-eye or earth eater. you can sell the weapons they drop for 50-150k..

One-eye is a good way, also try beating Kottos and customize regen shields with those items he drops and you can get a nice amount of cash that way also

A good way to get money is by beating sleep sprouts in the calm lands arena, If you are strong enough you can beat it in one hit. Plus you get two teleport spheres, or even two dark matters, and the weapons it drops sell for 5000G-150000G. keep beating it until you run out of money (it costs 8000G each time you face it) and you should have over double the gil you started with. :cool: and loads of teleport spheres, which are very useful.

Sell Sell Sell... For some reason the weapons in the Omega Ruins sell for more than others.... Sell to Rin whatever you don't need or want....

i don't think the weapons in omega ruins cost higher that the ones you win from monster arena monsters.

also, if you already leveled up a bit and can hit 99999s i think its much easier to do it on mimics. just find a location where you can encounter most of them. you can have rikku on your party but you don't have to wait for her turn to do steal or attack. practically, tidus can. just steal and if its a mimic one 99999 attack will kill him. 10 mimic encounter=1million!
