I own all four games and all of .hack//SIGN and .hack//Liminality
I love them all. I bought the soundtracks for them all too. The story is brilliant but I thought the ending was a let down and didnt become as complicated as it could have been. It was all simple and clique. Theyre brilliant fun games though and I love Elk.

I finished Mutation Kite's Level 57 and everyone else is Lvl 56 I'm buying Outbreak soon and I love the games and I watch Twilight and SIGN I can't wait for the new .Hack games.

I beat the first and played half way through the second before I just got tired of it. It just couldn't hold my interest after a while.

It got rated as a 7 on Gamespot, but that doesn't mean much since some of my favourite games only got a 6, but to say the truth its true, the game just doesn't end and the story really ends with "Frank, there's something really important I need to tell you?". And so you just buy the next one and the next one and so on. I'd rather have pne game with one good final ending. Its a pain when the game ends in the middle of nowhere.

Bear in mind that, while each game seems short, you also have near limitless options on other areas to go to....

Elk first recieves it after you defeat the PHASE 2 boss, alot harder then skeith... ALOT!!

I beat the series and I am awaiting .hack//G.U. and .hack//FRAGMENT. From what they say each installment of G.U. will be different from the last and by that they mean new battle system, music and other things of that nature so that it doesn't feel like a complete rip off to make cash like the last series.

I want to try fragment, but they should make the system like on the show.

as in, jumping, awesome battle physics, better roleplay (or role play in general) and pvp/pk system.
