This was the sky right before a thunderstorm from my back yard. It was the freakiest thing I've seen in a long time I mean the sky was just plain red  What do you think of it?

Science has proved sayings like that wrong. I mean it wasn't sunny at all the day after

Maybe it means that you don't notice the constant editing of your posts and people telling you not to double post. That meaning of a red sky is proven by science.

What's wrong with double posting? I have to reply to some poeple's posts right? What do you mean that it's been proven ??? It was at the biggining of a thunderstorm.

P.S. The Cid Knights do not like it either.

DO NOT DOUBLE POST. THE MODERATORS DO NOT LIKE IT, YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED NOT TO DOUBLE POST ALREADY BY THEM. SUBTLETY DOES NOT WORK WITH YOU DOES IT?

I only just found I today about what they meant about and I don't see why they don't like it. Yeah I am gonna stop double posting since I now know what you mean. Don't know why though. Also I don't think mods like huge font

Red sky at night - Sailor's Delight.
Red Sky at morning - Salior's take warning.
Just old sayings. They have no scientific relevance.
Here's a cool sky. (attached).

I think it's beautiful, not freaky. Thanks to all the smog in LA, we get brilliantly colored sunsets like that one all the time.

Looks like a pretty sunset to me. In some places during, before, or after a storm, everything just kinda glows yellowish. It's pretty.

Maybe im wrong, but the changing of the color of the sky at sunset/sunrise is a naturally common occurance. As far as I know its caused by the refraction of the rays of light due to the position of the sun on the horizon... ???
In english: Our atmospher is full of water vapor. Its refracts the light that passes through it (much like a prism). Thus we see a blue sky. When the sun is rising/setting, The angle the sun is at creates the strange but beautiful colors we see. The diferent angels give different colors.
Once again maybe im wrong, but thats what i always thought it was. The question i would ask is what time of day was it?

doesn't look like Amrmageddon's about to begin. very nice assortments of red-ish colors, but i prefer blue skies b/c this is not Mars. that doesn't make blue any better than red.
It usually means you'll have sunny weather tomorrow.
...and what a nice sunny day it is, God. good job! you already have a 9.0, throw in a horror movie tonight and you get a full 10.

I like it when the sky is like that, even though I think it means there is a lot of smog in the air.

It does -- those aren't natural sky colours, unlike grey and black, which are natural sky colours.

I get a veiw like that every sunset, except there's a forest of buildings.
That's kind of weird. Especially how your backyard looks identical to my backyard.

Was the sun white, and was the sky speckled sparsely with white sand? I see that a lot... I always sleep through it, so i never have to remember it.
