I captured 10 of every monster everywhere, but I still don't have Nemesis... what am I missing. (I have the North American version of the game)

you need to beat all of the original monster creations before you can fight nemisis.

I did, but do you have to beat them after capturing 10 of everything?

I'll beat all of them again anyways... (now with most stats maxed)

You also have to beat, all of the species conquest and the area conquest creatures, as well as capture 10 of every fiend in spira and defeating all the original monsters. With most stats maxed nemeis should be a breeze. :cool:

beat the monsters then go out of the arena. then go in and talk to the person creating monsters.

I beat all of the originals again, now I'll move on to the species and area (I'll get to the one I missed eventually).

Did you check all of your second pages to make sure you had ten of *EVERYTHING*?

if you chat with the person in charge he will say that you have got all the monsters and he has a good judge of character. if he said that, you're positive you got all 10, so all you have to do is the area creations.

Thanks, it was some Area Creation that I missed, so I got Nemesis now and beat him twice (kind of reminds me of the Omega weapon from FFVIII).

What is Nemesis? This is the first time ive heard of it, and I've seen just about all of the game...

Nemesis, seen here (http://www.ffcompendium.com/~Skylark/ff10/qnemesis.htm), is the final Original Creation at the Monster Arena. In order to face Nemesis, you first have to Capture ten of every Fiend in Spira (ignoring, of course, Fiends which cannot be captured), and defeat every Area Conquest monster, Species Conquest monster, and Original Creation at least once. Nemesis has 10 million HP, and was the most powerful enemy in the NTSC-J (original Japanese release) and NTSC-U/C (North American release) versions of the game.
