they can both wear the escort guard, which is the male-only armor. they, as in cait sith and red XIII.

as for reeve, if he WASNT male, id be worried. *IF (and i mean a real BIG if) they ever redo this game for PS3.. reeve just might be lookin good. oh hell.. they all would. esp. vinny boy.

EDIT: O_O i just found out that nanaki is in fact a MAN! right before you escape ShinRa HQ and do that kickass g-bike mini game, Barret says to Red Xiii "You a cold man." yep. he must be a human man.

i think red xiii is neither. hobo hojo probably did some wierd-ass "expirements" on him which changed his sexuality. gross. he was sick enough to make himself look like ugly deformed man-jenova tho. so you never know.
