its too hard.. isnt fun anymore.. im not gonna guess anymore

Quindiana Jones

eiko guy's riddle:

For now I'm gone
But never forgotten
Once used for protection
But no longer so
I am never seen while im alive
But I still move but with help from my master.

What am I?

Hints:
Gets replaced before the game ends.

Reposted for simplicity's sake. And stop whining about it being "too hard :crying:". I'm fed up with these rubbish get-it-in-three-post riddles. Good work, eiko guy. Don't tell them the answer. And stop guessing everyone. It clearly hasn't helped anyone. If you post your reasoning then eiko guy can tell you where you've gone wrong and hint at what you should think about.

Not having played the game for a good year or so doesn't help with this. What's got me stumped is the "For now" part. That suggests the answer disappears or something at a single point in the game, but unfortunately I can't remember enough of the game to think where.

I'm gonna go with Hilda Garde 1. I know 2's been said, but meh. It's a start.

For now I'm gone - It gets stolen.
BUt never forgotten - Cid never forgets it and is always trying to rebuild her.
Once used for protection - Wasn't it Linblum's attempt to gain dominance in the skies? Alexandria had the Red Rose, which was awesome, and Cid wanted a ship that could travel anywhere blah blah blah. Whatever. ;)
But no longer so - It got nicked, and eventually used to transport Kuja around, and he's not a nice man. :(
I am never seen while im alive - *whole idea crumbles* ummm....urhhhh....It's a ship. It's not alive.
But I still move but with help from my master. - Pilots.

What am I? - Hilda Garde 1. I just bloody told you!

heheh noone is right.

hmm Well Quin this thing is willingly given up. Hmm given up isn't the right word. BUt basically it goes because of its owners actions.

The second lines reasoning isn't clos sorry.

By once used for protection i mean a long time ago. Before even the characters grandparents could be alive. Way before then.

In this day in age it isn't used for protection...leaving it at that

This object is never seen while alive....leaving that at that

It moves and doesn't exactly needs it's owners will to move.

It isn't a machine

Quindiana Jones
12-31-2007, 08:42 PM
And it isn't eidolons?

FFIX Choco Boy
12-31-2007, 09:42 PM
I'ma say the Game Over screen, it makes alot of sense. Mostly in the never seen while alive part.

Im wanting to say Necron but i cant really explain why.

For now I'm gone
But never forgotten
Once used for protection
But no longer so
I am never seen while im alive
But I still move but with help from my master.

I dunno, it just seems to be a description of Necron to me.
Ill try to add some reasoning to this post soon.:mog:

Eiko Guy
01-06-2008, 07:28 AM
Nothing so complicated guys.

You see the answer on disc one for the first time.

Rantz
01-06-2008, 12:14 PM
I can't seem to find anything that fits all the lines! :)

It's not General Madelene is it? She fits all lines except for the last one. (Damn the last line)

Aerith's Knight
01-06-2008, 01:36 PM
theater ship?

Quindiana Jones
01-06-2008, 03:12 PM
OMG PANTZ IZ BAK.

Rantz
01-06-2008, 08:32 PM
Hey, I haven't been gone much longer than you

Quindiana Jones
01-06-2008, 09:32 PM
Yeah, but shut up.

I've decided I'm just gonna have to play through Disk 1 again (omg tragedy) if PANTZ or Mr. 47's answers aren't correct.

Eiko Guy
01-07-2008, 12:38 AM
Nothing elaborate.

The answer is all over the game. ALL over the game.

Hint: The answer is only half gone when it leaves.

Caveroamer
01-07-2008, 01:18 AM
Evil Forest?

or Clerya Sandstorm?

The Unknown Guru
01-07-2008, 05:42 AM
The jewels that summon Alexander? I dunno.

belkor_teh_magnificent
01-08-2008, 05:58 PM
I would say the Crystal. Almost certainly wrong, and i can't make it fit all the reasoning yet, but it's a hunch. And it's on the games cover!

Eiko Guy
01-12-2008, 02:33 PM
haha no guys.
If we reach page 60 and noon has guessed it I will say its color. whoo...

Quindiana Jones
01-12-2008, 06:28 PM
Haha, dude, for me page 60 is another 29 pages away. :D

Caveroamer
01-12-2008, 09:17 PM
I'm gonna guess the item that the moogles use on the Machine in Mognet Central, Superslick

Caraliz
01-13-2008, 01:29 AM
the mist??

Eiko Guy
01-13-2008, 02:14 AM
no to all.
Not an item

Ace14
01-13-2008, 08:32 PM
page 60?! thats like another...9 pages away and about 270 posts. You're gonna give more hints before then right?

Quindiana Jones
01-13-2008, 09:19 PM
Hints:
Gets replaced before the game ends.
Is given away freely.
Seen first on Disc One.
Colour is an important factor.

sillybuttons™
01-14-2008, 10:16 AM
My next guess is Vivi

For now I'm gone (Dies)
But never forgotten (Of course net, who could forget Vivi)
Once used for protection (Spells perhaps)
But no longer so (Because of the whole being bereft of life thing)
I am never seen while im alive (Technically not alive because he is made of mist, the souls of the people of gaia)
But I still move but with help from my master. (The mist is maybe Vivis master)
Hints:
Gets replaced before the game ends. (Lots of little Vivis in the end FMV)
Is given away freely (on Disc 1) (Got me beat this line it throws the whole Vivi guess away)
Colour is an important factor. (Black - He's a Black Mage)

Oh wow this is really hard. I love this riddle. The hints have made it even harder and made me want to solve it even more. :mog:

Eiko Guy
01-20-2008, 08:12 PM
This thing int given away freely on disc one. It's given away freely. And is first seen on disc one. You lso see This characters master very early as well.

Noone is correct.

Quindiana Jones
01-20-2008, 09:34 PM
Have we been through the Black Waltzes? I reckon 3.

First and second lines: Vivi kicks his ass but he comes back.
Third and Fourth: The Waltzes were, in a sense, made for the "protection" of Garnet from those "evil kidnappers". They repeatedly say that they're there to safely return her to the castle I think. Or maybe not. But whatever. 3 goes barmy and tries to kill everyone.
Fifth and sixth: Once again, they're are machines really. Never truly alive, as they must obey they're masters Zorn and Thorn (or maybe Kuja?).

That's your lot for now.

Rantz
01-20-2008, 10:42 PM
You're probably right, you bastard.

Quindiana Jones
01-22-2008, 07:33 PM
I don't think so. It has holes that I can't fill, but that could just be the differences in how eiko guy and I think. Fingers crossed though, eh? :D

And suck it, Rantz.

Caraliz
01-23-2008, 12:48 AM
it's hair! garnet's hair! she cuts it all off. and hair is never alive!!!

i dunno. i'm being creative. :(

Eiko Guy
01-26-2008, 07:02 PM
HAHAHHAHHAHHAHH
Feel the illinoise is correct.

For now I'm gone It's cut away
But never forgotten You can't forget her hair
Once used for protection hair used to be for protectio from heat and cold and stuffs
But no longer so We have clothes now
I am never seen while im alive Hair is dead once it leaves the follicleBut I still move but with help from my master. It moves when garnet moves.

Quindiana Jones
01-26-2008, 08:51 PM
Wow. Me and eiko guy think REALLY differently. Haha, good riddle. Good answer too. Congrats to feel the illinoise!.

Caraliz
01-26-2008, 09:17 PM

BG-57
01-27-2008, 01:54 AM
You can make up a riddle of your own.

If you'd rather not, just leave it up for grabs.

Caraliz
01-27-2008, 02:04 AM
I am neither the alpha nor the omega, but I am between them both.
I was born to rule.

There! Two hints.

Rantz
01-27-2008, 01:11 PM
The enemy Mu? It's one of the middlemost letters in the greek alphabet :) I don't know about the second hint though.

Caraliz
01-27-2008, 10:12 PM

BG-57
01-28-2008, 12:45 AM
Mace of Zeus? It's Greek and symbol of Zeus' power, the ruler of the gods.

Ace14
01-28-2008, 02:08 AM
Bahamut?

No idea what he could have to do with the omega and alpha stuff but he's the ruler of dragons or king or something so yeah. :D

Aerith's Knight
01-28-2008, 02:23 AM
Alexander?

Caraliz
01-28-2008, 03:35 AM
Nope. I might have to think of more hints...

Hint: Think LARGE, but not as in size. That doesn't mean think small in size, but maybe large could have a different meaning?

Rantz
01-28-2008, 11:03 AM
The crystal? In the Final Fantasy IX logo, it's amidst a group of letters :p And of course, it's large in meaning for the game, while not exactly small in size.

Caraliz
01-29-2008, 11:27 PM
nope! ;_;

Aerith's Knight
01-30-2008, 12:02 AM

Ace14

Rantz
01-30-2008, 10:23 PM

The riddle:
My calling now is not too far from what it was before

I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist?
I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist!

Incorrect answers:
Black Mages
Kuja
Vivi
Genomes
Blue Cheese :-)
Garland

None right so far.

Quindiana Jones
01-31-2008, 06:15 PM
I fucking hate you for this riddle, Rantz. :mad2: I haven't the ruddy foggiest, so I'm gonna have to go play the game again. :)

demondude
01-31-2008, 06:37 PM
Necron? xD

James Leopold
01-31-2008, 06:58 PM
Regent Cid?

Rantz
01-31-2008, 07:33 PM
No to both. :)

I'm not gonna be anal about reasoning for your guesses, but it does help me help you. Picking the riddle apart and thinking aloud about each line will get you more feedback than fifty guesses.

And Quin, replay the game by all means, but I don't think it's going to help you much ;)

Quindiana Jones
01-31-2008, 08:24 PM
Is it the game itself?

My calling now is not too far from what it was before - Maybe you've started playing it more often, like when you first got it?
though I don't play with you much, friends and peers, not anymore
I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist? - This contradicts the first line of reasoning but whatever: you don't play it as much as you first did?
I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist! - It's a ruddy obsessive game.
Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command
they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand - You control different characters, but they all think they're acting of their own accord. They don't know they're in a game.

I just guessed that from the "playing the game won't help" clue.

Rantz
01-31-2008, 08:58 PM
Good thinking, but it's not an abstract answer in that way. What I meant was rather that you're unlikely to take notice of the answer in the game.

Caraliz
01-31-2008, 09:09 PM
Stiener? :o

Rantz
01-31-2008, 09:20 PM
Nope ;D

Quindiana Jones
01-31-2008, 09:26 PM
If it's Lav Layderce again I'm gonna kill you. :D

Rantz
01-31-2008, 09:36 PM
It's most certainly not Lavvy ^^

Edit: I may just as well be generous with hints. The answer is not anything inanimate.

Aerith's Knight
02-01-2008, 03:03 AM
The lice that jumped off of Zidane's head when he entered evil forest?

Ace14
02-01-2008, 04:54 AM

Aerith's Knight
02-01-2008, 05:19 AM
queen stravagotzia or something.. the one that collects the stellagio

Rantz
02-01-2008, 09:10 AM
It's not Queen Brahne, Queen Stella or any parasitical lifeform ;)

Caraliz
02-01-2008, 09:50 AM
I've got it! It's... Rantz!

Rantz
02-01-2008, 12:17 PM
I wish! :jess:

Caraliz
02-01-2008, 05:35 PM
I wish! :jess:
is it the pointer on screen? :greenie:

Rantz
02-01-2008, 08:33 PM
'tis not! The answer to this riddle is something that the characters may be aware of (i.e. it's not part of the user interface, the game case or anything like that).

Quindiana Jones
02-01-2008, 11:38 PM
Could it possibly be the Card Master Phantom thingy bloke. I know you know what I mean. I'm too tired to give my reasoning. If it's right, I might haha.

Rantz
02-01-2008, 11:43 PM
It's not correct, but I'll help more if you post your reasoning. Do as you wish! :monster:

Ace14
02-02-2008, 02:55 AM
Is it the player of the game??

My calling now is not too far from what it was before

though I don't play with you much, friends and peers, not anymore- The player of the game won't hang out with their friends as much and will be a loser if they do nothing but play final fantasy 9

I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist?- If you play the game non stop you'll be exhausted and won't even think you'll exist?

I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist!- You'll lose feeling in your fingers if you keep playing but you'll get farther

Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command- Your a loser and you control the characters in the game?

they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand- you control the characters in the game

Probably really wrong but it was worth a try :D

Rantz
02-02-2008, 09:49 AM
Nope. Again, the answer is not abstract to the characters in the game or outside of their world.

"Short, unknown and ugly" are epithets of three characters.

Aerith's Knight
02-03-2008, 07:12 PM
vivi, amarant and steiner

Rantz
02-03-2008, 09:17 PM
They're not any of the main characters.

Selena_Akariko
02-04-2008, 06:25 PM
Somehow the first guess that comes to my mind is Black Waltz #3. I have no idea if it's right or wrong.

Rantz
02-04-2008, 06:37 PM
Nope, sorry ^_^

The riddle contains references to a previous Final Fantasy.

Ace14
02-04-2008, 06:58 PM
Is it those three twin brothers? The really ugly ones who worked with tantulas

Rantz
02-04-2008, 08:16 PM
It's not the Nero brothers.

The riddle:

Caraliz
02-05-2008, 01:18 AM
Yeah!!! Marcus, Cinna, Baku, etc etc?? :D

Rantz
02-05-2008, 02:26 PM
Nope! Think about what you have that describes them, apart from the particular words short, unknown and ugly.

Caraliz
02-07-2008, 12:16 AM
Dammit Rantz, give another hint puh-leeze. ;_;

Rantz
02-07-2008, 12:43 AM
Sure! :)

"Short, unknown and ugly" are three separate people, i.e. one "short", one "unknown" and one "ugly". They hold a specific relation and are all significant characters to the game.

Caveroamer
02-07-2008, 01:57 AM
Cinna = Ugly

Quina = Unknown (Gender)

Moogles = They are Short

FFIX Choco Boy
02-07-2008, 02:14 AM
The answer exists in the game's world, i.e. it's not something the player could be aware of but not the characters.

Well, actually, the moogle bros that theach you stuff do talk about menus, buttons, guages, and that sort of stuff. Just saying...

Rantz
02-07-2008, 10:14 AM
It's not Cinna, Quina and a Moogle (or any of them). These three people are connected in a certain way.

Eiko Guy
02-09-2008, 06:15 PM
short = cid
Ugly = brahne
Unknown = galand

Three leaders all being controlled by...mist?

Rantz
02-10-2008, 12:07 AM
Cid and Brahne are indeed the ones the riddle calls "short" and "ugly". Garland, however, has no connection to the riddle or the answer. Who else could be the "unknown"?

Caraliz
02-10-2008, 05:18 AM
is kuja unknown?

Ace14
02-10-2008, 06:30 AM
Ozma? He/she/its unknown

Rantz
02-10-2008, 11:32 AM
Nope. Remember that these three have a special connection.

NeoCracker
02-11-2008, 12:27 AM
I'm going to take a stab and say "The King of Burmecia".

Rantz
02-11-2008, 10:51 AM
Yup! Unknown because you never hear his name, in contrary to the other two.

So "short, unknown and ugly" refers to Regent Cid, the King of Burmecia and Queen Brahne. Now to carry on with the rest of the riddle!

Repost:

No, sorry!

The reference to a previous Final Fantasy lies in the first two lines.

Caraliz
02-11-2008, 07:11 PM
Do the first two lines refer to moogles? :o

Rantz
02-11-2008, 07:16 PM
Nope, but you're thinking along the right lines from what I can tell. Moogles also have a similar relation between IX/the game being referenced to the the answer's. If that makes any sense. :)

Quindiana Jones
02-11-2008, 08:02 PM
I was gonna say the Crystal, but then realised my reasonings didn't fit. I'll say it anyway so it gets checked off the list. :(

Rantz
02-11-2008, 08:21 PM
It's not the crystal. :D

Caraliz
02-12-2008, 12:33 AM

NeoCracker
02-12-2008, 03:50 AM

Rantz
02-12-2008, 04:38 PM
No to you both.

The answer is a person.

Quindiana Jones
02-12-2008, 07:15 PM
Is it someone that the characters can meet, or do they simply hear of him/her?

Rantz
02-12-2008, 07:51 PM
In a way, you can meet this person, but not the characters.

Quindiana Jones
02-12-2008, 11:07 PM
Hmmm.....so it's a character from a cutscene or one of their nifty little ATE thingies?

Rantz
02-13-2008, 01:36 PM
Nope, not really. ;) I'm not gonna clue you more on that particular subject right now, it would make it too easy. Feel free to ask about other stuff though!

Quindiana Jones
02-13-2008, 08:22 PM
Hmm....I have an idea. But I need to check my game before I do anything, because I can't remember what my answer will be.

I suppose you could say it's because of the person's current calling.

Does it have to do with a job class?

Eiko Guy

In the other final fantsy that is referenced to this person plays with us right. And now they don't do that but their purpose is the same.

The only people I can think of are gilgamesh and Carbunkle and I'm preety sure neither are correct.

I need to play more final fantasy.

Rantz

It does have to do with a job class! At least in a way, but it's not why the answer can't play with you.

It's not Gilgamesh or Carbunkle.

Well it's not a philosophical line really, like in "do I exist if I'm a genome?". It's more brutal than that, so to say. The word "still" tells you what about the answer? :)

The riddle:
My calling now is not too far from what it was before
though I don't play with you much, friends and peers, not anymore
I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist?
I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist!
Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command
they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand

Incorrect answers:
Black Mage(s)
Kuja
Vivi
Genomes
Garland
Necron
Cid
The game
Steiner
Lav Layderce
Queen Brahne
Queen Stella
The pointer
Master Phantom
The player
Black Waltz #3
The Nero brothers
Moogles
The Crystal
Gilgamesh
Carbuncle
Garnet
Iifa Tree
Ramuh
Puck
Blank
Beatrix
Ruby
Mikoto
Summoners

Hints:
The answer is a person.
The answer exists in the game's world, i.e. it's not something the player could be aware of but not the characters.
"Short, unknown and ugly" refers to Regent Cid, the King of Burmecia and Queen Brahne.
The first two lines contains references to a previous Final Fantasy.

Did someone call for aid? :cape:

So lemme get this straight in my head:

My calling now is not too far from what it was before
though I don't play with you much, friends and peers, not anymore - Old FF reference. The answer is like something in an older FF, but different.
I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist?
I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist! - It might not even exist, full stop. Which means it could be dead, but with it's "work" (ideas? Writings? Research on something?) it is still known in the game.
Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command - Brahne, Burmecia, and Cid all use something related to the answer to do stuff.
they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand - They would be powerless without it? Or, at least, they wouldn't be able to do something if the thing relating to this person wasn't around?

All that, and the fact that the answer is a person.

Is it one of the Cids? Cid I, I think. No....Cid VII. Cid VII invented airships, which are used by *reasoning fails due to the King of Burmecia*.

That rat bastard. :mad2:

So far, so good. The answer is like someone from an older FF, but with a different profession; although the professions are connected in a maybe not so obvious way. Likely to be one of the many backwards nods from SE.

I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist?
I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist! - It might not even exist, full stop. Which means it could be dead, but with it's "work" (ideas? Writings? Research on something?) it is still known in the game.
Now we're getting somewhere! The job is not any of those you mention, but another type of job that can make you "immortal", in the abstract sense of the word. And yes, the answer might be dead, although we don't know for sure (and no, this does not mean it's him).

Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command - Brahne, Burmecia, and Cid all use something related to the answer to do stuff.
Nope, this particular line does not really relate to the answer, but only to B&B&C.

they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand - They would be powerless without it? Or, at least, they wouldn't be able to do something if the thing relating to this person wasn't around?
No. This line may be more relevant than you think at first. It's stuffed with information!

Is it one of the Cids? Cid I, I think. No....Cid VII. Cid VII invented airships, which are used by *reasoning fails due to the King of Burmecia*.
It's not any of the Cids. I was going to make a riddle about one of them at first though, so bonus points for solving the riddle I never even made! Then I thought of this one which is far more genial.

Sorry about this, it was a misunderstanding. My answer was to Quin's first question, then he slyly edited in the second question.

Now, a shomewhat random guess... Hades?
"Through my works I will persist" - he is the Great Synthesist, after all... "Can't feel my limbs" - well, he is sitting on the throne during the battle. And as far as I know, there was something like that in one of the previous FFs, no?

Just a guess.

:save: Selena

Rantz
02-25-2008, 06:47 PM
It's not Hades. Synthesizing is even closer to the right type of work, however, although it's not a shop-type work.

Quindiana Jones
02-25-2008, 10:13 PM
The only other synthesis I can think of is that big ass statue in Daguerro that turns your scabby old ores into nice, prettier rocks. I don't think there's a name on it though, and I can't think of a way that it'd fit with the rest.

Unless, of course, it was the fact that BB+C all had a nice pretty rock at some point.

Rantz
02-25-2008, 11:59 PM
Nah, not that. The work is not anything that has to do with synthesis, that's just closer than invention.

Quindiana Jones
02-26-2008, 07:03 PM

is it Gogo, the guy the Old man in Danguerro tells you about that used to make dolls of people?

Reasoning

My calling now is not too far from what it was before

though I don't play with you much, friends and peers, not anymore
(was playable in FFVI)

I am tired, weary; Do I even still exist?

I can't feel my limbs, but through my work I will persist!

Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command ( Cid,Brahe,King of Burmecia)

they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand ( He made dolls representing them)

My calling now is not too far from what it was before
In Final Fantasy VI, Gogo was a member of the party who was a Mimic. Back then, he imitated. Now he makes "dolls that look like real people", another form of imitation.

though I don't play with you much, friends and peers, not anymore
He's not in the playing party in this game.

I am tired, weary
When you exchange the Magical Fingertip (supposedly Gogo's) for the Excalibur, he says about the item: "Look at these fingers. They look worn-down, as if they never got a break."

Do I even still exist?
We do not know whether Gogo Godfingers still lives or not.

I can't feel my limbs
Considering his fingers or hand, or whatever the Magical Fingertip is, is an item you can achieve, he is likely not to be able to feel them anymore.

but through my work I will persist!
His dolls are handicraft that will continue to remind of him.

Though short, unknown and ugly may all well be in command
they do not see how they are mere puppets under my hand
Cid, The King of Burmecia and Brahne are (were) the leaders of their countries, but they are all made to dolls "under his hand".

Your go, Caveroamer, and good job!

- The way Amarant lives his life is hardly a just way, he's a mercanary who lives for the fight. However

The life he leads is definitely of a more vicious nature, hunting down men and all. However he manages to make it through just fine.

This riddle is similar to the clock puzzle in FFVIII.

Lenna
03-27-2008, 07:35 AM

As Rantzien discovered, the first letter in each line represents a Roman numeral. These numbers can be combined, but they're in the correct order already. That limits the combination of possible numbers.

Of course these in themselves could be interpreted in a number of ways. I've checked for stats that match the numbers in some way, looked for clocks in the game that might show one of these as a time, and such. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. :)

It's one of those number sequences. At this point you could solve it by elimination.

It's not the Ragtimer, is it?

No, it's not a person.

I remember that you had to put in a code at some point.. but for the life of me i cant remember where

The numerical code does not literally appear in the game, but solving it will help you find the behavioral code that does.

Not the frog catching game.

2 6 ?

No.

1 1 5 1
1 1 6
1 4 1
2 5 1
2 6

251?

I know that number had some meaning in the game.

Do the words in your riddle actually have any meaning, or were they merely chosen so the Roman numerals would fit?

I'm just wondering if this code is "vicious". Gnarly riddle, by the way. I like. :D

1 1 5 1

1 4 1
2 5 1
2 6

It's not 2 5 1.

A little of both, actually. The lines are relevant to the riddle, but I made sure to start with specific letters. For example As vicious as it is would read better than Vicious as it is, but I need a V there.

And yes I think most people would regard this code as vicious.

Glad you like it. :)

Does it have to do with the candle code or the elevator code?

BG-57
05-03-2008, 12:28 AM
No to both. It's not a literal code you have to type in at any point in the game, it's more of a moral code that you can choose to follow.

1 1 5 1
1 1 6
1 4 1
2 5 1
2 6

That's the correct numerical sequence, yes. :)

You've correctly read the IV as representing the word For, but you need to pronounce the Is differently.

The move "Eye For Eye"? Which increases the chance of you smacking the crap out of someone who attacks you, which is kinda mean and vicious ;), but it can serve you well. :D

I suppose I'll have to confirm, it is Eye 4 Eye.

Incidently it's taken from the Code of Hammurabi, which is the first written codified set of laws. It's pretty harsh by modern standards, but it was an improvement over simple revenge killings.

Your go, Harle-Quin. :)

Wow. Interesting. Good riddle.

I haven't played recently, so can't think of one. Aerith's Knight or Rantzien can have my go, as they contributed the most.
