Well, not really a question, but.

Basically, I'm going to start FFXI again, for the third time to be exact since it came out.

The point of this thread is, anyone want to have a new friend? Basically, I'm looking for a server that has people from EoFF in it, and play fairly often, and possibly LS.

Last time I went to titan with Eternalshiva, that was fun, but now I want a new server, for a new account, and new name.

so, anyone? :D


Info: I'll be working towards warrior > Dark Knight > Dark Knight/Warrior and I play ALOT. Possibly at 66+ I'll work on DRK/THF.

Blah, had everything set up properly, but for some reason once I click on "New character" or something, the screen goes black, I can hear the music, but thats it. :/ I can also hear myself clicking on things, changing races, etc.

Any advice?

My graphics card is also fine, so that can't be it.

Sounds like you need to set your display settings.

The game won't work unless you come to Pandemonium. :D

Do you by any chance use Dial-up? =/

Try switching to "Simplified character creation visuals" in the FFXI configuration menu.
