ATTN: All you ROM hackers out there!

I'm working on a FFVI hack, but my knowledge is very limited, and many of the tools available for mucking about with things seem very buggy or give me improper results when I go to test the game out. This is, in effect, me asking for help from people with experience hacking FFVI. I do not wish to reveal what my plan for the game is or make any announcements until I'm fairly sure it will get completed, but in order for this to work, I'm going to need some help.

Any volunteers? I'll make you some brownies!

If you're interested in hacking the ROM you should PM i90east (http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/member.php?u=9038) (or IM him, not sure if he's still around). He's done a lot of hacking and has a stellar expert version of the game made (on release 3 or so now).

What is it exactly that you want to hack? Text? Graphics? Events? Just out of curiosity.

Text and graphics, there will be few if any event changes. Let's say for the sake of argument that there will be no event changes whatsoever.
